Has there seriously been no feedback about Anet’s stance on this? This thread is still on-going, with the same gripes about the costuming and townclothes system.
Anet, please get it together and at least show you’re paying attention!
Just remember, paying with real money funds development and you get this. Speak with your wallet, not text.
They are refunding certain things with gems, so you could be happy with that I suppose.
That’s the thing, the Roleplayers DO speak with their wallet. They spend time and money farming for gold to get the perfect dye for that gemmed townsclothes outfit piece they bought. For the sake of their character looking nice when they decide to play in the towns, they will spend hours in the game, or crack open their real wallet to pay for the opportunity to use a specific outfit.
Not to mention those that have to wear heavy armors, and had a nice town clothes outfit set up for their character in-town or in RP scenarios where they wanted downtime. Now I can’t even get a skin that isn’t permanently big and bulky and covered in metal. I had a country shirt and riding pants. Well FORGET THAT!
I was just reading the question posted about a month ago here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/account/Artwork-commissions-for-in-game-gold
But there never was really an answer posted at the end of it.
What would be the parameters of such a thing? Would it be allowed at all, for gems OR gold? I make commissions myself from characters (NOT Guild Wars 2 related), but I have customers asking me if I can make portraits of their characters for them. I am a player myself, and their offering to pay in gold/gems that they’ve paid/earned themselves.
Is there a final word on this?
