That right there is facepalm worthy.
“Our programmers programmed the ability to add character slots, but they didn’t program the ability to remove them.” Okay…
Also, so what if giving you gems back without the ability to remove the character slot would be seen as giving you more back than what you lost. The trademark of an honest company that stands out from the rest is going above and beyond with extra compensation. In this case, that would be giving the 800 gems back and letting you keep the character slot. It’s not like it costs Anet anything extra to do this and it’s their own lack of foresight that’s the problem.
I just need Dawn and T6 mats to craft Sunrise.
I have Gift of Sunrise, Gift of Mastery, 77 Clovers, and all of the ectos that I need.
Your point about mystic coins is actually not very valid. They are easy to get. You get 1 per day and 20 for the monthly. As others have said, you can also get them on the TP, which doesn’t deny others any opportunities. They made the choice to sell the ones they have, meaning they probably don’t need them for a legendary to begin with.
The things you asked to be removed from legendary farming are actually the easiest things to get done.
Take a look on the TP at Charged Loadstones and see how much gold you need for 100 of them.
How about 1.5 million karma?(not as hard as it sounds btw)
Mystic Clover RNG?
I won’t even go into the precursor nightmare.
I was wondering this as well. I’m at work, so I can’t try the jumping puzzle right now, but I saw a video. Are those with lower health pools, such as Guardians going to have a disadvantage when doing this jumping puzzle?
EDIT: Others had posted while I was typing my message. If the damage is indeed percentage based, then that works out just fine.

Check out that link. It may help you get started.Thank you! This looks quite promising
Now I’m off to bed but please, continue responding. You are all being exceedingly helpful.
I’ll be checking this thread out first thing in the morning!
I’m headed to bed soon too, so it will be a while before I add anything else. I will keep my eye on it later though.

Roleplay is simply just what it sounds like. you create a role in the game world (your character) and play it (using talking, walking and emotes) . There is not allot to it! it gets better when you establish who you are, and people you get to know start to know you back!
This. Decide on a back story for your character that defines their personality. As a newcomer, feel free to base your character’s personality on your own. If you decide you enjoy RP, and have become more confident with experience, consider making another character later on who’s personality is completely different from your own.
A rule of thumb to keep in mind is even if you know something about GW 2 lore as a player, it doesn’t necessarily mean that your character knows it. This can be key for keeping yourself in character vs out of character. I know I haven’t really answered all of your questions, but I’m pressed for time since I’m about to leave work.
I will add though, welcome to Tarnished Coast. I used to RP a lot when I was young, but not so much anymore. However, I recently moved to Tarnished Coast because whether you RP or not, RP communities tend to be far more pleasant than your typical MMO communities.
Edit: Add me to your friend list if you want and hit me up in game some time and I will go over the basics and other advanced RP tips with you sometime. I RP’ed for years in and out of video games along with running my own RP events for other players.

It’s a good thing you don’t live in a 3rd world country OP. Be thankful these are the kind of things you have to gripe about. Even my 6 year old daughter isn’t this petty.
The Great Destroyer is already dead. Players killed him in Eye of the North for GW 1. He was a champion of Primordus, the Elder Dragon you are probably thinking of. As for which one I want to see next? I don’t really care as long as it’s presented in a more epic way than Zhaitan was.
Edited for a typo.
THis happened to me aswell. It’s because your too low lvl. It’s a lvl 50 event yet your lvl 45 and you wont be doing enough damage. Try again at 49/50 and if yo udo enough damage you’ll get some loot.
This isn’t exactly true. It is a level 50 event, but the first time I did the event on my guardian, I was level 45 exactly and I got gold and loot from the chest.
EDIT: I should verify that by gold, I mean the gold medal and the rewards from it.
