Project Knighthood is a new guild started by Temple Hermit and a couple guys who were looking for something different than most large guilds. We are pretty small now, but are getting the foundations set in stone as to be able to grow.
Our Philosophies-
Respect: Every player deserves respect. We’re not only players in a game, we’re all people outside of the game as well. There is just no room for causing unneeded arguments with other players.
Creativity: The easiest way to explain this is, we believe that almost any build or weapon set can be useful. We are not the type of people who are going to shove our builds down your throat. Now, if you would like advice or our opinions on your build, we think that working together on builds is a great way to make the build the best it can be.
Activity: Our guild has no rep rule the exception is when doing events with the guild. Since they changed the way guild influence works, and made it so you can see the guild chat of guilds you are not repping there’s no point in a rule. That being said, whether you are representing us or not, whether you are online 8 hours a day or on for 2 hours every other day. If you are not actively partaking in guild activities/ guild chat, then why be a member of our guild? Also, we are trying to create a guild that members will be proud to represent, rather than making them represent.
About our guild -
We are an NA guild mostly playing in the afternoon / evening EST. We will accept members of any timezone.
We strive to be a PvX guild, playing multiple facets of the game. For now we are focusing more on the PvE and PvP aspects rather than WvW. If you enjoy doing WvW that is absolutely fine, and if you would want to be a critical member in WvW efforts make it known to leadership and we can discuss moving int he right direction. We have members who enjoy doing world bosses, map completion, HoT zones, who play ranked and/or unranked PvP regularly as well as dungeons. We are not diving into raids as a group yet, we feel we are too small at the moment but it is something we would like to do eventually.
We do not have an age requirement. What we have is a requirement to think before acting, and think before speaking. Age doesn’t define whether someone is mature, and it doesn;t define whether they’re a good person or not. But, While there is no SET age limit, if you are very young , we likely will have to pass.
Guild leaders as of now come from a myriad of backgrounds. I personally have played dozens of MMOs over the course of 10 or so years. Sticking to a few for longer than others. The one I played most exclusively was Knight Online. We also have another leader who was a guild leader in WoW for many years, and another who has helped run/recruit for other successful guilds in GW2 already.
We have a strong belief that members who make themselves active within the guild, whether it be by organizing content, helping new players, giving advice or other things earn the right to move up with in the guild. Any member who shows these qualities and is interested in more responsibility/ authority can always contact leadership about advancing.
We do not have a set server for WvW currently.
Communication -
Website: We currently do not have a website. We have been playing with the idea of making a very simple one, mainly just used for stamping down event times for the guild. We would rather you be talking to us in game rather than making you use a set of forums to do it.
Voice: We now have a teamspeak! We believe Voice is really important for better communication during events where typing and doing other things at the same time is hard.
Guild Chat: We want the guild chat to be an open forum for our members. Don’t ever feel like if there is something you want to talk about that you can’t bring it up with us. Leadership is mature and can handle most things very effectively.
Rules -

No religion or politics in guild chat. There is a time and a place for these, and guild chat is neither. If you are having a conversation with someone please take it to whispers.

Project Knighthood is well organized, active and currently still looking for new members. Leadership is great, guild is friendly and the foundations for an upcomming strong guild is already built. The fun part is being apart of something and helping it become greater. Playing by yourself? You should give us a try.
Actually, I talked to my friend and now he wants us to create our own guild since his brother might join us. Thank you guys for the offer though I really appreciate it. Ive read your guild information and I believe that it could be what im interested in. I would also like to share with you guys some information on me and my friend to see if we will also fit in with your guild.
We are both 25 and casual players. Busy most of the day with working or charity stuff so mostly on around late after 9pm usually playing for maybe a few hours a day. We are more Pve based, and i cant speak the rest for my friend but I like to map explore, jump in on random events, and fight bosses with a group. Anything extra that I can figure out to help the guild, that is within my ability, i would be more than happy to do because I believe that a guild is like a home , your fellow guild members are like your brothers and sisters who have given you a place to be and enjoy together with you. I just feel like the time zone difference would affect the activites with the guild but if we are allowed to stay, and if we can do anything that somehow helps the guild as we play at night then we would me happy to help. We are pretty chill guys and not the type to say anything unnecessary. I have alot of experience playing over 10 different mmos most of them just trying them out but deleting them because it wasnt for me. I was a guild leader before but left due to the game was too expensive to keep on playing. Great game in my opinion but so far i really enjoy the elements of this game. I have bought the expansion and my friend is also on the verge of buying it too. Well i guess thats all I wanted to share for now to see if you guys are okay with us.
We are looking for a fun guild to be apart of and help grow. Doesnt matter if it is a small or large guild. We are located on Maguuma server.
