I’ve been really enjoying guild wars 2 since beta, but I’ve been having a hard time finding a good solid guild to call home.
I’m looking for a new guild, and the following attributes strike me as some of the most important:
- A good amount of active players and a decent player base
- Focus on GW2. Sure everyone wants to take a break and play some other games, but the main reason we are here is to play GW2.
- PVE and WvW. I enjoy dungeons, fractals, and just goofing off in game, and WvW is a blast. I hate standing around waiting for dragon timers. Guild missions are great, special events are good too.
- Maturity – I would prefer and adult crowd.
- Life comes first. Jobs, families, etc are more important than gaming.
- I am in the central time zone and tend to game evenings on weekdays and random times during weekends. An ideal weekday event starts around 8 central for me for example.
- Players who know what they are doing and are good at it, and willing to talk and experiment with builds/theory
- Guild leadership that is focused on the guild and GW2 in general.
Things I’m not interested in:
- Not a big fan of drama
- Not interested in class restrictions – I play alot of classes which may be why the game never gets old to me.
- Not interested in elitism of any kind (although I can perfectly understand gear limitations like higher fractals)
I am willing to transfer to any server. Would like to know how WvW queue times are since I enjoy it a lot.
