Hidden Areas and Things

I have a couple INSANELY hidden and cool things for you to check out. There’s no rewards or special loot or enemies to fight in them but they’re very aesthetically pleasing and you’ll gain a sense of smug satisfaction in knowing where they are. In the Grove in the Garden of Dusk I think it is (It’s one of those gardens) there’s a pool you can dive down in and it’ll take you to a cool area. Also in Diessa Plateau in the town of Nolan theres an area with a bunch of mossy gears lying around. Two Charr children claim they can hear singing, I suggest investigating… Don’t want to ruin too much but find the pipe you can climb in and you’ll be greatly rewarded. These are the only 2 I know of but if anyone finds any more please post it on here.

Well yeah but for people who don’t want to skip I think it would be cool, also even if you do just skip them at least surrounding events and quests will show up on your map so its more useful.

First off I want to sing my praises for the environment in this game. I truly love the idea of the vistas- taking time from keeping your nose on the grinding wheel and appreciating the game around you. That being said I feel as if they don’t really have a point. I realize the point of them may be that there is no point but I feel as there should be more incentive to go out of your way to climb the vistas, at least from a leveling progression standpoint rather than that of a completionists . My idea is that vistas serve a similar purpose as scouts do before you’ve explored all of a map. Going out of your way to climb a vista would now grant you a nice aesthetic view of your surrounding area, as well as some useful information on nearby quests, events, or what have you. It would only be a one time thing, much like the scouts but I feel it would enhance the feeling of exploration in a new zone as you climb to higher ground to get a bearing on your surroundings. I think it would also give more options to players who are looking for something to do in new zones without having to go visit a scout, as well as give vistas a practical purpose and incentive to seek them out while leveling on the map like the skill points and waypoints provide.

Another idea I had was maybe after completing all the vistas for an area we could get some more concept art for the zone? I LOVE your concept art.
