I don’t think greatsword is a very good weapon in a condi build compared to scepter.

haha yah but the synergy with blind and chill is to good to not take greatsword, and its hybrid build, i had scepter/dagger with gs, but staff just work better for me, lay down marks then burst with shroud and gs

I was a bit reluctant to be honest, at first.

The ambiance is perfect, the begining of the story is really cool (I don’t want to go too far too quickly so I spend some time in the camps, helping around).

I love my new main: the rev/herald.

Even if there is still some things left to tweak/fix, this is awesome. GG Anet

So glad that you’re enjoying yourself. Sure, there are things we’re working on — as you can see from the game build records — but it’s always nice to hear someone say things are going well, and I will be sure to share that “GG” with the team.

I think it will be better to seperate berserk from the adrenaline mechanic and instead transform it into a constant aura, the power of the aura can be scaled back.

So that it flutuates on its own with the flow of battle and that there is no need to trigger it and that the f1 skills change permanently if your specced into berserker.

This for me will just make the spec much more appealing mechanically and visually, because then you know if a war is specced into berserker or not.

So that as you build momentum/adrenaline the aura gets buffed, same way adrenaline works expect replaces it with an aura that fluctuates on its own without the need of a trigger.

it will give the elite spec more presence so it doesnt feel so fleeting

the elite spec doesnt need buffs or tuning, it needs to be thrown out and replaced with something completely different, its totally trash now.

it doesnt give the class anything new
it doesnt add to build diversity, complete opposite, locks into burn builds
worst part is, it feels that you only get elite spec 1/5 of combat,
because thats all this elite spec is, a few seconds added to existing mechaninic with different animations
no one will play as a berserker
even if you buff it, the mechanics of the spec still sucks
no reason to keep playing war
just delete it from the game

everything else, other elites, new story, etc, is great, just no motivation/fun to play as war anymore

Game wide reward nerfing needs to stop.

I always have less than 30gold, is no problem to me, i can do anything with that, no problem. Why so greedy bro, why so focus on gold? Dont make game into a job.

Elite Specializations & Hero Point Feedback [Merged]

I dont think any of the mastery or hero points needs to change, its endgame content and making it easier to acquire defeats the purpose. The mastery gated hero points and events is all good, no need to nerf that into a 1 minute defense of shaemor thing.

All the new zones need is some fine tuning to ensure it stays relevant once the majority of players has blazed through the expansion, making sure the new maps isnt left empty after a few months.

The only two issues i see here is event scaling and map travel, its ok for now, but i think in a few months it could be a problem.

Map Travel
Adding a few more waypoints, 3-5, for each map should ensure players have a easier time getting to where they want.

Event Scaling
As for the event scaling that just needs to be tweaked, so its bit more manageable for number of players actually doing it.

Profession Strengths

Most of the endgame content requires different trait and gear sets for each game mode, so I want to have a few professions dedicated for each one – open world pve, dungeons, fractals, wvw zerg and wvw roaming; pvp is obviously not a issue because you can change your build at will.

So what is the best match for each profession, for example:
Dungeons: X, X
Fractals: X, X
WVW Roaming: X,X
WVW Zerg: X,X
General PVE: X,X

If there is a specific build that make the profession stand out in that game mode please include it.

PVP player check & AFK penalty

I know this has been mentioned tons of times, but I still dont know why the devs havent implemented a simple player count before a match starts.

There are a lot of matches that are 4v5 which takes the fun out of the matches and ruins the glory/ranks that players gain or loose, and is generally just a waste of players time.

On top of that, the solo que also have some players that just loves to afk during tournament matches. They either genuinely go afk or just stands in spawn zone. There should be some kind of penalty for going afk – ie for not stepping out of spawning zone in set amount of time. Maybe a few hour penalty where players cant enter que again.
