Give thieves shadow form, make it a utility that grants blindness to attackers and reduces damage by 10-20% throw it in the deception line and give it a cool-down of 40 secs untraited. It’s graphical form would look something like Liadri’s shadow form. Give thieves shadow shroud as well and make it look like a black curtain is thrown on to the enemy. It blinds the enemy for 5 seconds and has a 20 sec cd. Dark prison would be another good one, summon dark/black chains around your foe and immob them for 3 secs 30 sec cd. Entangling asp could be in the trap line and would cause multiple foes to be immob and poisoned. Thieves need their traps to hit aoe instead of one target.
Bring back the rangers infuriating heat, call it the spirit of fire and make it periodically grant players might and/or fury while attacking then when it dies it creates a heat blast around its area for x amount of damage. Energizing wind could be another spirit that grants vigor to allies every so often and then upon death it knocks back foes in its area. Melandru’s shot can be brought back as a longbow weap skill that inflicts 3-5 stacks of bleeding for x amount of seconds. Ignite arrows could be a utility that makes your next 5 shots cause burning for 2 seconds.
I too wish to toss my hat in the ring of this post and say that I think ANet should integrate the trait system with the old one. Players start earning traits at 10 again and if you want a trait then you have to hunt for it like the current setup. If you just want to out right buy it then it’ll cost you some low amount like copper or silver and maybe 1 skill point or no skill points. This way players aren’t kitten until they reach really high levels and those who enjoy the new GW1esque flavor they were trying to introduce get to hunt and those who liked the previous system better can just buy everything.
Hey ANet a lot of the new armor has been pretty stale so why not let your artists take a little bit of break and let the game community work for you? Bring the design contests back. Many players have great ideas that they’d love to show off for others so why not have monthly or so contests for the players to design weapons and armor just like you guys did in GW1.

What do you mean they can run doubles of the HoM pets Milky?
Yes disabling pets would be nice too, but seeing as ANet is firm on their decision to make pets the ranger mechanic we might as well get used to it. At least they can offer us new shiny pets to pokemon battle with. I too like the scorpion fish Zaoda.
Ogres can tame griffons and raptors so why aren’t those pet options available for players? Wurgs should also be tameable especially since they’re in the canine family. More pet options offer character diversity as well new build ideas for players. I’d also like skelk or skale to be tameable. Anybody else wish to see new tameable pets?
Thieves are so squishy and I find that all I need to do on my ele is apply enough chill and cripple then they’re cake. Stealth is quite manageable and I don’t support thieves getting nerfed. I love a good fight against a thief and I think they should be able to use all the tools at their disposal to give me one.
Whatever happened to players being able to wear the armor and clothes of the majority of NPCs we see? I was roaming around Ebonhawke today and thought wow that medium armor would look really cool on my asura.
I just picked this up again now that I’m finished with school and have a level 10 human ele. All the people I see around me seem to be guilded up already or have their own groups and I’m tired of soloing. I’m just curious to see what guilds are around my server.
