Hmm. Not sure on the pic you posted. Looked similar maybe. It was at a different angle than either of the pics I think. As if you sat the box down. I think it was hovering off the ground when it moved away. Wish I would have took a screen shot. It moved off at a speed of walking, not running. Maybe it was someone drunk having some fun role playing haha.

Thought maybe GMs were logged on doing an event for 4th of July maybe. I’m new to the game so don’t know much about what they do for holidays etc.

I logged on a little after the 4th ended (3:40am est time) and there was a guild banner giving experience bonus and opening shot. Never had that happened. Anyway, I noticed what looked like a dead player on the map (I was in the city Destiny’s Edge I think it’s called), so I ran over to revive it. It looked like a gift box. Once revived it thanked me, said maybe one day it will be able to repay me, and for me to try and stay alive. It had a guild tag of Ascendant I think. Level 80 thief. This part of an event? I’m on Darkhaven server.

Is this a permanent feature of the game, or will it only last a few months etc.?

My current main is lvl 26 Ranger. I have a thief and warrior too I plan on leveling up. I’m into a bit of everything. Pvp, exploring, raiding, pve, crafting. Although I usually don’t raid much til max level. I haven’t pvped yet, and that is something I sometimes wait for til end game. The hours I play vary. Sometimes I’m up all night playing, other times all day/morning.

I’d like to join a guild with a lot of active members. Oh, I’m a 39 yr old male, live in the US. (Some people care about that type of thing).

I’m a new player and wondering if I should bother with this. I’ve done some reading online and it seems like something only long time players do. If it is something a low level character (level 26) could, or should do, please let me know where to go to get started. Thanks.

Says it increases toughness but when I mouse over my toughness stat in the hero menu there is no difference in my character’s armor increase. With the signet on, or off it just says “increases armor 198”. There’s supposed to be a passive increase in toughness right?

I’m in the Norn city. I have all but cleared the city map. I have 1 point of interest left that i can’t seem to get to. Do you have to be a Norn in order to get all the point of interests?

The point of interest is by the traveler’s loft, and fang of the serpent point of interests. There is also a laruel merchant near it. The point of interest shows up when viewing the upper level map Great Lodge. Thanks for any help.

Won’t let me swap positions. I only have two animals that can go in the water. I’ll have to wait til I tame another amphibious creature and in a round about way get the position I want. If there’s a way to clear a slot, that would help, but there doesn’t appear to be one.

Where’s a good place to get a shark, or any other amphibious pet
? I’m level 15, any doable place for me to get one ?

Guess I’ll try messing around with the pet interface more. I was unable to figure out how to swap positions before.

Ok, When I enter the water I have my stinking bear spawn even if I have my lizard out. This annoys me. Is there anyway to prioritize them? I notice on the beast page my bear is on top, and lizard below. Can I swap placement? If so, how.

PS. Why is a bear referred to as an amphibian in this game? Just so it can swim in water lol?

I play mostly with the long bow and love it. Which is strange because I prefer melee combat lol. I’m low level though, 15, so things probably differ later I’m guessing. My friend who’s played a lot longer than me said that Ranged rangers are considered useless in raids. I haven’t raided in any dungeons yet. I’m guessing that’s what he’s referring too. I have done some open world raid events. Who knows, maybe I’ll end up hating the class, but so far it’s the funniest class I’ve played in GW.

I’m new to game. Started a thief. Died a lot and it was too fast past for me. Went to Warrior, it bored me somewhat. Tried Ranger and loving it. I don’t die nearly as much as I did with the thief and warrior. Maybe that’s because I’m better experienced with the game mechanics? But I know the fact I have a pet to take agro makes things a ton easier. Actually, 2 pets. You can swap in combat even. I’ll likely play thief and warrior more some day. Hope I find them better than Rangers. If so, I’ll be blown away haha.

What’s an oh kitty button? Can you give me a detailed example of some abilities that thieves and warriors have that fit whatever the oh kitty button is? Thanks.

Does your personality trait, or whatever it’s called affect the voice of your character? Or is it sex, race, and class/profession? I’ve noticed my two human females sound differently. Not sure if it’s due to class/profession or because one is charming, the other dignified.

I did a search btw but the thread that turned up was a year old. Don’t know if things have changed since then. I’m new to game.

I logged out and back in, now it’s letting me salvage stuff…

I have around 30 crude salvaging kits and an over flowing inventory. I’d like to salvage items but the kits don’t work on anything I have. What is the criteria I need to know please? What items can I salvage? I have weapons and armor in my inv… won’t let me salvage.

I don’t like the default set up of the way the skills are showing up on my action bar. I would like to swap them with one another like you can do in any other game with an action bar. In other words, as an example, skill 1 I want in skill 2 slot, skill 2 in skill 1 slot. This is usually done by dragging. However, this doesn’t seem to work. Can this be done? If so, how? Thanks.
