I know its a PVP game. I dont have a problem with that at all. I really dont.
PVP in this game is boring….do you not think so? Like I said, WvW is something I had high hopes for but really its nothing more than multiple packs of zergs running from point to point. You cant do anything on your own which makes it feel like you dont have a choice.
Its not a matter of PVE vs PVP because I have played League of Legends for years, so I do enjoy PVP. Its just that something is missing in GW2 and I cant quite put my finger on what it is.
Are you seriously telling me that you enjoy endgame in GW2 to the point where you log in and still play it for hours?
I haven’t played in weeks now…. and its a shame cause I really like this game. Leveling up was a blast and I had hoped that once I got to max level, another chapter of the game would begin…..but its not there.
*I have exotic gear already so no need to farm karma or gold…
*I have map completion nearly at 100% aside from a few points that are still bugged last time I checked
*Battleground type pvp is ok but there really isn’t much reward in doing it since everyone gets the same gear at the start for free.
*World vs World seems to depend on how many players are on a particular world, its too much running just to find action, and you cant really do anything by yourself. You have to run with a herd to do anything.
*Dungeons are messy. Who cares about what the bosses do? The goal is always the same, if you die, run back quickly before everyone else does and the boss resets.
Im not a WoW fanboy, but I did expect to find more at late game considering the great time I had getting to this point. Is anything planned for the future?
I share the same problems. I use a shortbow and no matter what I open with (1, 4, 5) it never applies vulnerability to the target. Every once and a while I will see it but its maybe once out of 50 kills.
Whats even more odd, is that sometimes it stacks 3-4 bleeds on the target with the first hit instead of vulnerability.
I support this change. And for the record, I am a level 80 ranger.
I support it for 2 reasons.
First, it got very annoying trying to interact or rez other players with your dead pet getting in the way and hogging all the action. Even looting in packs of mobs during a kill quest would be aggravating if your pet was dead.
Secondly, We are already able to swap out our pets during battle. If you are burning through 2 pets during an encounter something else may be the issue. Try 2 defensive pets such as bears instead of DPS pets like Cats. If you swap your pets out before they die, you can swap them again in a minute or two. Even during boss battles, I have found that reviving a pet does nothing but waste your time that you could be attacking the boss.
There are some scattered throughout the world but if you want a sure bet, get to your home capital. I dont know what race you are but for example, if you are human, there are post people on the second level of divinity’s reach.
Yep, think of trophies as “left overs” from a quest. Some of these items can be salvaged. The ones that can, are nothing more than vendor trash. Some in fact, even vendors wont take and just have to be trashed.
Hey all. I was wondering if someone could give me ideas on legit ways to farm Karma.
I am working on getting all my high end karma gear from the ruins of orr area and … well if you dont know, its like 250,000 Karma for the entire set.
Is there a good way to farm for Karma? I know that doing events and such are about the only way to get it but maybe someone knows of a particular zone in which the events happen frequently and are easily done?

I absolutely love this game. I cancelled my pandaria pre-order for it and I haven’t regretted it at all.
The only issue that I dont like is that there is no way to queue for dungeons. To do one, you have to stand outside of the instance and hope you find a group spamming in trade.
Considering that composition isn’t as important when compared to other MMOs, I think it would be easy to put a tool together that would simply choose 5 people out of the queue and assemble them for the dungeon of their choice.
Anyone know if anything like this is planned for the future?
I am level 80, and I currently have almost 50,000 (yes thats correct, 50K) Karma points. I have level 75ish gear. Im working on my trade skills to make that gear since it is the best I have found even when compared to the culture armor.
Is there anything I can do with this karma? I hate that its just sitting there and I dont have anything to do with it.
