I guess it never had a hotkey. Ya /rank did it. I alwayys though it displayed your ffinisher because I never used one other than the sPvP one I had. Guess it would look silly to just drop a Vigil laser out of nowhere lol

I quit playing like 6 months ago and recently picked the game back up and fell in love all over again. I remember though, I loved spamming my sPvP banner outside of sPvP. I was looking through the keybinds and was unable to find the hotkey anymore. Was this feature removed?

First one is great from in front but I feel that Norns should have an exuberance of hair. So I vote the second.

Frontal view was the only reason the first one was in the running. I thought it looked odd from behind but loved the front xD

not having a cap and running into maybe 3 or 4 mesmers would pretty much ruin your day :P

shatter spec would hit for ~2.5k on a bad day 3 times, 4 if specced for it. 4 people doing 10k damage instantly to say 50 targets would just be silly and this is from pressing 2 buttons and is near unavoidable especially if you just see 50 friendly names swarm 4 red then instantly get shattered. Mesmers aren’t even the strongest aoeing classes either.

The cap seems to be a very strong addition to the quality of the game

guildies are hating on the dreads but I kind of like them :S

I’ve always thought it just looked freakin sweet but I hear a lot of “if you’re not a good commander don’t buy the pin” is there a special place I can go to get good commander skills before I’m a commander I’m not aware of? I am in WvW quite often but I don’t quite get how you become a good leader without leading.

I guess my question is, how do you jump past the “new leader” shenanigans? Obviously current commanders like Mance, Beg or Cuts didn’t buy gw2 and instantly become good commanders. Is being mildly distrusted just territory that comes with being a new commander because a lot of the commanders on JQ are relatively well known on any given time of day.

Just hit 100g on one character without trading between toons, I’ve wanted the pin since I saw it the first time however I’m not sure I want to be left with not much gold on one toon.

is it worth it? or is it just a pain in the kitten?

I understand there is a sort of cap on how much you can loot so fast and I’ve been googling around trying to find an answer for my question but all I can find is qq about how loot DR is lame.

I just farmed Orr for ~1hr and a half and was reading that Frostgorge Colossi were super amazing farm because of respawn and corrupted lodestones. I stayed in Frostgorge and farmed for probably an hour and a half maybe two and the most I got was 1 vicious claw and I think 6 large claws all in all netting me about 75s/2hr.

Does the loot DR carry over to other zones effectively gimping ALL loot retrieved directly from monster corpses or did I just have really bad RNG luck?

Also, is there a better farm than CoF? I’ve been desperately clambering for a good farm in this game which I know is relatively against Anet’s beliefs and as a mesmer it’s REALLY easy to get a group for CoF and blast through it. CoF is pure currency drops however and I’m lucky to get a rare every few hours whereas I get quite a few rares farming elsewhere with less currency dropping.

I’ve read the wiki over and over and a lot of different posts saying it’s based on this or it’s caused by that and i still find myself on a great deal of my characters having aggro over say a guardian or warrior. The other night I was doing fractals and we got the Mossman fractal. I probably hit him like 5 times the entire fight he was chasing my mesmer aroudn even while stealthed, I had to play completely defensive. Meanwhile a full zerker warrior is just whaling on him and had he been hit he would’ve been insta dropped because of no AR and no defensives… is there a secret mechanic I’m missing?

I will say, I have played many games with aggro so I know what it is, I just don’t understand how it works in this game the guy who hits the mob the least shouldn’t be tanking from what I understand O.o

I have tried a little bit of throwing major sigil and runes into the forge. From personal experience I feel that the chance for upgrading sigils and runes is less than the chance of upgrading 4 rares to exotic. However, I could be having bad luck with hte mystic forge, just like you.

25g wasted in the forge is the same as a drop of water in the ocean. there is people who have wasted 100s if not a 1000 gold on the mystic forge in the hope of a precursor without getting any.

there is times where you get few exotics and other times were you get a lot and even a precursor. Like you said its rng. venting your frustration in a thread like this is pointless. no one seeing this thread will give a kitten because the amounts of gold or attempts isnt event large.

relativity is everything. This character only had about 30g to begin with :P

but it’s a venting thread, somehow complaining to myself just doesn’t quite do it for me

over 28 combinations of runes, sigils and greatswords today, about 25g in all and not even an upgrade. I honestly wouldn’t be even half as kitten if I had at least gotten a terribad exotic anything rune or sigil whatever. But nah, not even an upgrade in quality

So since the patch Orr farming is pretty rough in MF gear as a warrior I tend to get one shotted by the champs that spawn even though I’m kind of far away on my screen which is probably do to lag similar to Jorlag. So, since this is nerfed pretty hard, where is the best karma farm? currently I’m doing Balthazar Temple area events farming which is close to as good as Cursed Shore used to be. I got the idea earlier to use a karma boost and farm CoF P1 due to it being incredibly easy to find a group as a zerker warrior. Would I get next to nothing with the DR and waste the boost? I’ve been trolling all over the place trying to find an answer to these questions without really being able to find a recent answer.

I was in a group earlier and this necro was chastised for being 3 levels over the level requirement of the dungeon so I ask… If the dungeon scales level and gear… why does it matter? Not really complaining just curious seems kind of ridiculous O.o

also, I’m not a ranger I’m a mesmer. I just feel bad for rangers that join groups and have all the glass cannon dps run for the hills upon joining

yea, must be hard sitting back auto attacking as a ranger the whole time, wheres that dodge button again?

actually, I’ve met 4-6 warriors now that say the specific reason they made a warrior is so they don’t have to dodge that and I see people not dodge like 90% of mechanics in dungeons. I just got the general idea that a lot of bad people play this game but the community makes up for it

Its personal preference, some people dont’ want to play with rangers, especially in pve content so they don’t play with them. Why kitten about it? i personally say “no rangers” in my lfg post most of the time, not just for cof but for any path.

I do this because i have a maxed ranger, guard and war and to be honest the ranger is soooo far behind the war/guard in pretty much everything that they are just useless, thats my personal opinion but everyone is different. If you don’t like it then play a different game and stop complaining about it.

How I feel exactly, Like even with 3 decent zerker warriors we do like 8 min runs and he has crappy gear. It’s just crazy like “ranger?” instaleave lol

What’s the deal with warriors on any sort of farming run bailing when there is a ranger in the group? Literally the only class I see instabail and they always ask, “Ranger?” and upon answering yes, they leave. As if it’s 100% impossible to clear an instance quickly without 5 zerker warriors. Now this is absolutely the only complaint I have towards this community. Coming from other mmos this community is kitten near perfect, everyone is nice, everyone helps people out and no one is a jerk for no reason… except in dungeons.
