Yo it’s me Suññy, the one true Guardian. You might remember me as Guardian for such teams as [We Met On EHarmoney], [QT], and [SOAC Gaming – Red Team] come here today, perhaps too many years too late, to tell you about the gaming changing idea I had this afternoon.
Everyone knows how the downed state works, a lot of people would probably still agree if I were to say it should be taken out of the game. Personally, I like the downed state but it needed to be different somehow without taking the whole concept out of the picture. So I was thinking about it and quite easily came up with a solution that seems reasonable and balanced, keep in mind Stomping is my job so I have the hours of experience with it and it’s mechanics:
So my idea focuses on the mechanic itself, not the stats for Revive Regeneration or Downed State Abilities. A player is given (1) Downed State per fight. So basically, you go into a group fight and you start getting focused by the enemy team and are taken down but not stomped. Your teammates rush over to revive you and from THEN ON you no longer have a downed state, when you fall below 1% HP you are DEAD. But, listen up, if you have used up your downed state and you’ve also managed to run away or live to win the fight, all you need is to wait till you’re “out of combat” for your downed state to be RESET. Was that really so hard to think of? No. Why hadn’t I thought of this before? IDK. Does it matter anymore? Probably not.
