Actually “Rise” is only useful in PVE or situation where there’ll be 5 enemies for you to hit right? Since the number of jagged horror summoned, will be based on the number of enemies hit. (not sure if i’m wrong. but that’s what I perceived from the description O.o)
So, I don’t know.. I may still prefer other minions than “Rise”, since its usefulness varies according to number of enemies… Cos it will really sucks even in pve if there is only a single target — boss, and hence only 1 jagged horror is summoned. I would rather have 2 bone minions or other minions tbh :X…

It is definitely not just other classes calling for mes nerfs, but a few vocal mes mains. There are just some people who don’t like change even when it is beneficial. The changes actually make the class more accessible to new players, and I think some self-styled gurus feel threatened by that. I agree with the posters who are wondering why mes are getting so much attention when Guards, Engi
and Necroshave been given ridiculous dps skill burst and sustain.I’ll add if you’ve become very good at fighting with a broom handle, god help everyone when you get hold of a sword. Mes are definitely not OP, we’ve learnt to use underpowered tools, and dodge/kite with a sliver of health for so long that any beneficial skill tweaking pays big dividends to the dedicated player.
I’ve never really understood the self sabotaging that happens here. It is very bizarre, and comes across as elitism among a few. However all mes pay the price. Well these people don’t speak for me and I’m pretty sure not for most of the mes community either.

1. necro condition—bleed [formula] is weaker than before patch for the grave sake, and staff bleeding was nerfed ^^

1. Unless you are referring to our “unholy” 15-20 seconds elite — lich form, with 120 or 180 seconds cd, that can hit 7k to light armour with a zerk necro? :X
2. Or the return of conditions back to the owner… >.>… that is not even our damage to begin with… we are a soaking sponge, or perhaps a condi mirror after the patch.

In anyway, I don’t mean to call for nerf. But, I do agree and believe that balance is always the key for a fun game, where classes have their own uniqueness, but yet not OP when compared to an overall comparison (even if one day necro will truly becomes OP in some ways, balance is needed). Gosh, i spoke (i mean typed) too much… in anyway, just to clear one thing up; don’t include necro in ridiculous dps and burst.
Well, I kinda agree sadly that necro condi is worse than before.. except that the full 3 trait-lines is a buff in terms of more survivability, or options to play around with.
Worse as in — on the new formula of bleeding (nerf), and duration it gave (longggg~). What kitten on it more is that — staff got nerfed (mark of blood), possibly (imo) due to the grandmaster trait — lingering curse. Where they think that 2x the duration is OP, hence changed the formula for bleeding, and reduce 1 stack from staff bleeding.
It is bad, from a necro who main a staff >.>.. it’s forcing me to go scepter and lingering curse to make it worthwhile. since firstly, staff bleeding nerf. Secondly, bleeding formula nerf, which makes dmg even lower than before (despite the cap increased to 1.5k), I’m doing lower dmg and taking longer to kill enemies like people in this thread has mentioned…
In overall, what do we gain when compared to others? (buff) Additionally, it’s bad to further include in nerfs. GG condition necro. I know the damage etc isn’t bad. But it just sadden me when it’s actually worse than before, and especially when it’s one of the lowest condition dmg when compared to other classes.

Question: does the “revive” here refer to reviving down state player? or is it defeated state player? :X

Did the formula actually changed? or did i miss out a nerf for bleeding?
There was a last second nerf for bleeding.
The pre patch notes state that by now the formula would be “2 + (0.30 * Level) + (0.075 * Condition Damage)” but instead it ended up being “2 + (0.25 * Level) + (0.06 * Condition Damage)”. Which means the break-even point is now somewhere above 2000 condition damage and not around 700 as “promised”.
So yes, unless you have BiS gear and focus completely on condition damage your bleeds are weaker now.

So I’m the only one who sat at 1.2k+ condition damage (now 1.5k condition damage) and got a nerf to my bleeding damage, doing lower than before? lol >.>… my poor bleeding. you have failed me.

Bleeding feels…weaker than before? I hope it bleed gets some buffs, although I do agree burn is too strong atm.
I agree…. Previously when I have 1.2k condition damage as a necro, i’m doing the same as What I have… 1.5k condition damage now.. >.< (blood is power: 16k damage to 15.6k damage, after the 300 increased in condition damage)

Oh.. (clarification): tested bleeding condition duration remained the same as before.

Its a corruption skill, they all cause conditions on self so wouldnt see why it would be removed.

As title mentioned, Ash legion spy kit is not working.
Previously it was still working well. (few days to a week ago)

- Tried: restarting game
- Tried: re-installing game

- Necromancer (my only character accessible to the legion spy kit)
- Might be bugged due to “party member’s” stealth skills and the usage of the legion spy kit
- Previously, while the kit was working, it appeared to be buggy once in a while.. (used in fractal/dungeon)
Am I the only one with this issue? can someone please test it? provide solution or advice? Thanks a lot in advance!

Edited: (update) Not really a fixed, but apparently, camouflage is working as intended. it’s just that that’s no icon, and my character did not become “invisible”. Instead, it was shown through my “wings” (backpack).

I hope a-net balances this by not letting them become too tanky per nature, else the meta becomes too zerker-heavy in PvP. Having one forgiving zerker in the meta (medi hammer) is already painful enough.
Hmm, in anyway, I certainly hope you have already realised “shout” on necro isn’t instant cast? O.o It goes from 3/4 seconds, to 2 seconds. Also, the damage sucks tbh (around 200?) :X.

Oh well, i tried that for a few times again.. more than 12 champion boxes. No scroll of knowledge from it. Well, though when i went SW for Chest train, I got quite a plenty from it.
I guess I would need to know if hunting champion stopped giving (champ box), or it’s just my “bad luck” x).. to determine if it’s bugged/changed. Cos i’m certain SW chest train still giving out the scroll of knowledge, however not by hunting champion and receive it from the boxes.
Help me keep a look out ya? :0 when anyone hunted a champion and opened its box/bag.

As the title mentioned..
Basically, i was in need of skill points..
So I went to hunt champions, world boss, etc to get the champion box.
Gotten 6 boxes, none drop scroll of knowledge..
So after a while, i went to pvp and gotten champion box again.
Same result.
Is it a changes to prepare for HoT?
Or did i make a mistake thinking that i could get them from champion box, etc?
People have very odd ideas of balance. Somehow it is “balanced” if 3 direct damage players burst you down in 2s, but if 3 condition damage players put 50 stacks of bleed on you that is completely “unbalanced”… logic…
Or the “logic” that you need to scale up bosses HP if you have unlimited stacks of bleed… 10 direct damage players can kill the boss in 20s, but if 10 condition damage players could do that… well we better increase their HP…
Then there is this idea that conditions aren’t meant for dungeon PvE or "meta’ PvE… yet nearly every other MMO currently being played doesn’t seem to follow this “rule” and in fact have long term condition dps as being the highest dps in the game, but worse for burst.
^This. Well, I’m a fairly new player. Though this is the impression i received whenever I read the forum about how people call for nerf for condition, afraid that the removal of conditions (bleed, etc) cap, will be too OP, and needs to be nerfed, etc… >.>…
I mean seriously? resistance to change is one issue. But restricting the game for personal agenda is another x.×... Gosh. The cap is something that should not exist in the first place, for whether PVE or PVP. Lower damage than direct (not affected by vulnerability, and crit stats), yes. Since there’s a fair trade-off of ignore defense, and possibly getting cleanse. However, resisting the change of it being OP when removing the cap is just dumb. Imagine that’s restriction on Power builds, to take in a maximum of 15000 damage per second on a boss, will anyone be okay with it? (that’s what condition build is facing)
Well, i have no idea who to direct this message to. But to whoever that thinks conditions needs to be nerfed, or kept down, so power (current meta) can remained in power, and for conditions not to be “on par” or “good” for usage. In short, do not do unto others what you do not wish to be done to yourself.

Hmm, recently I just changed the gender of my character (asuran) to female.
Cos…
1. Male Asuran just … has nothing much in looks itself (by the design/create system)
2. The armours male vs female wore x.×...
- male armour are like… not as much style/creativity? (except some)
- the colours suiting “male” seems to be quite restricted as compared to what suits female, generally, stereotypical. (hence more ground for exploration or creating an ideal look if play female)
3. Hear the difference! of the voice and things both genders said
4. Lastly, of course! opposite attracts :X okay. nevermind about this :X
