I hear people whining about CoF path 3, Rhiannon, but not sure if it is true or not. I give it a try early, and feel it need to be re-balance, specific the torches part

So I was in north east position. There are 3 shadow imps. Because the adds spam rapidly, they will pop up again if you kill them right away.

Our strategy is to kill 2 imps, left 1 alive (tank it), and when everyone ready, we kill the last mob and activate the torch.
It sound simple and fun, however the number is not balance.

The imp hit too hard, and it also puts poison on the player. I use a heavily tank suites and specs for that part, with the mindset that I will take constant damage without be able to kill the imp. At 28312 hp, 3447 armor, regeneration buff from banner+ healing signet regen + dolyak rune regen, I barelly be able to keep myself alive while waiting for my partner to be ready.
I would imagine, that would be significant more difficult for squishy class to be able to tank those imp without killing them
I think, the imp should have a more realistic dmg number, then the current damage output. Or the players should be able to kill them without worry about them respawm.

And then, when we all ready, we give the signal to kill the last mob, and start activate the torch. I try it with chat to coordinate, and the 5 seconds window timer is really really short for pug. I believe, the more realistic number would be 10 seconds coordinate timer.

CoF, Rhiannon path, probably the most painful out of all the dungeon I have done so far. Just my input

emerald orichalcum amulet = power toughness precision (not vitality)

as for amulets you can get an emerald pendant, but it takes tons of resources or money. Or an invaders amulet, which takes like, 1K badges.

woa never realize the emerald pendant is craftable. The mats actually seem significant easier to farm then 1k badges of honor

Anyone know any craftable option for ring or accessories that is exotic, similar to emerald pendant?

is there any other option from Orr ? like green version

Orr accessories cost 400-500 karma for blue version, and 1100s for green version. The WvW cost 26-34k karma for yellow version

The WvW vendor only sell yellow and orange version (I do not see green or blue version of neck and ring), which are very expensive and would take few days to grind.

I would like to get a cheap green version of neck / ring first, and then slowly grind for higher, more expensive version

Anyone found any level 80 ring / neck that give combination of power + toughness + vitality ?

I try to build a tanky suite, but only see accessories slots with that combination

@Zeus, my Elementalist has 100% world completion. Fall damage is not bad in this game, especially because of how fast you heal up out of combat. The only time fall damage is an issue is when it would 1 shot you, which is incredibly rare in this game as the majority of cliffs have a logical way down them, and I don’t consider being put out of my way doing it right. It’s a waste of a trait.

it is a matter of quality of life. Again, it is not impossible to do without it, but it is a pain in the dikc without it. All I ask is, what is the rational behind the decision to give 7 classes fall damage reduction, EXCEPT Ele.

If you can defense that decision making, please enlighten me. Please dont give that bullsiht that you can play without it. Just answer the plain question, why ONLY 1 class do not have it.

So we ran a CM story mode. One of the guy join us, always AFK and lag behind the group. When he died, he does not even bother to run back. When we like 5 pulls before final boss, he just log out and ditched up.

Our 4 people group all agreed, this guy deserve to be reported. Generally GW2 community does not have that many azzhole, so few individual that really really duoch bags should be punish to some degree, or at least be notice to any group they join, so we can discourage duoch bagz azzhole behavior

I wasn’t aware anyone actually used the reduce falling damage traits in other classes lol. The majority of falls in this game are manageable in 1 way or another, at least there aren’t enough to actually spend a trait on.

if you want to do 100% world complete, fall damage reduction is a huge quality of life to cut corner. You can go the long way, or you can just jump straight down.

I have a level 80 warrior and 80 ranger, currently level up my elementalist. All my characters, I try to farm 100% world complete, and always take trait for falling damage reduction. Keep in mind that, changing spec is very cheap (4-5 silvers), therefore having a dedicated world exploring specs is completely affordable.

Elementalist, due to lacking fall damage reduction trait, is a huge pain on to farm 100% world complete.

totally agreed. why every other classes got falling damage reduction, but not ele?

I could understand if falling damage reduction only available to like 3, 5 classes. But all 7 classes have it, except ele, what type of failing, discriminating design is this?

Just for other people who not familiar, out of 8 classes in the game, 7 classes have access to falling damage reduction trait

Guardian – Protector’s Impact
Warrior – Death from Above
Engineer – Explosive Descent
Ranger – Soften the Fall
Thief – Descent of Shadows
Mesmer – Descent into Madness
Necromancer – Toxic Landing

Elementalist – NOTHING

Skill point - Cursed Shore - Statue of Melandru

Anyone know the skill point above Grenth temple (the south west island), call Statue of Melandru?

It next to a broken statue, in center of Grenth island, that has a DoT field around it. Anytime I try to run in and activate it, I keep got interrupt by the DoT
