u might be right about shadowshot, if the shot doesnt hurt then ofcourse it cant aply, about shadow strike (pistol-dagger nr 3) all those traits work becous pistol is in mainhand , and about pistolwip , this should proc becous stunning your opponent happens with pistol and does dmg, so it should proc (but it doesnt)

i found some bugs in thief traits section, after testing around i found out some traits do not work with pistol off hand skills

the traits “ankle shots” , “pistol mastery” and “richohet” do not aply when using following off hand pistol skills

-shadow shot

-head shot

-black powder

-pistol whip

so basically how the explain it best is,
the voice that shouts “they got the keep” “they destroyed your treb” “your team is victorious” etc etc
he stops announcing after about 1 minute , all the other sounds keep working, skillsounds etc but the guy just stops announcing,
when that happens i also noticed that we get half the points that we should get or even some no points after killing some1 or taking a point etc
1st i thought it was me , so i repaired the client but the problem came back and when i explained it to a guildmate , he started paying attention en said he had the same problem but actually never realized it.
I found out the hard way in kylo map, got trebbed down and while i uselessly pay attention to the voice when he says “get down or incoming”
it has been like this for the past 3-4 days

so if repairing client doesnt work, what other option i have left?
any others who have the same problem?

d/p in spvp with blind/stealth setup is amazing
your foe is mostly blinded, can land a single hit + the combo of Hs trough BP gives an extra stealth , so an extra backstab
+ if you have have shadow protecter trait up, u basicly have regen on hp non stop since it gives u the possibilty to go in stealth each 3-4 seconds (including utility skills ofcourse)

as a thief in pvp i mainly use dagger*pistol
often 1 off my jobs is to keep ele bizzy (since lately most groups use them)
but them mofo’s run fast -,-
i would love to proc ankle shot when i use shadowshot or headshot, since the discription clearly says when firing a pistol etc etc etc
that’s 1 example of why this skill can be useful
also they need to fix the 1 second bug, description also says it should cripple your foe for 3 seconds, when it does only 1 second
clearly the “ankle shots” trait is bugged entirely , they should just fix it , problem is, not many people use it, cuz its bugged , so that’s why ncsoft isnt putting much attention to it

i found out that the trait skill “ankle shots” doesnt work if u use the pistol in off-hand
so basicly sword-pistol / dagger-pistol builds cant use this trait,
even tho the discription clearly say’s when you crit with a pistol , u have 60% chance to cripple your foe

so basicly following skills dont work for ankle shots

-shadowshot
-headshot
-black powder
-pistol wip

unload does work becous u are using mainhand pistol in the unload
