Hello,

first of all, i have to say that i only played on Kodash so i cant really tell about other servers.

Kodash is overpopulated roamingwise. VERY overpopulated. My guild (running 1-5 players) has trouble to find any roaming fights these days. And if so, there is a big chance of other Kodashies attacking the enemies, which makes an outnumbered fight (in the beginning) very boring, as it just turns to a steamroll.
No offense, many players just get bored and want to fight something i guess.
All in all i wouldn´t recommend going on Kodash anymore, it should be much more entertaining to play against them.

My guild is now thinking of leaving Kodash to play against Kodash more often, so we would have more fights.

So please tell us about the situation on your new EU-Server

Hello everyone,

sorry for this wall of text and my sick english.

Since the Matchup-Threads are gone, i miss the chance to contact players from other servers for duels or GvGs.
You can go to Obsidiansanctum, but this way you will only catch players who are online and in the arena of course. I guess there are a lot more people, but they don´t want to wait in the Arena all day and then a lot of players will miss eachother.
So i want to create a contactlist for all players and guilds who like duels and GvGs. With names it should be easier to communicate, especially outside the arena.

Please only post in this thread if you want to be in the list. Of course you can add your friends or other guilds too, but please ask them before so they aren´t surprised. ^^
If you want to be removed from the list, the contactnames from your guild aren´t correct anymore or you or your guild changed the server, then please create a new post and i will update this.
If you wan´t to give me feedback or improve something, then please create a different thread or write my ingame. Keep this thread clean please.
I will update the list as often as i can. Depending on the amount of players answering here, a sticky would be great.

How does the list work?

Have a look at the list of the two servers you are facing at the moment and whisper the players (in english) that you want to duel. Of course they don´t have to duel you, maybe they don´t have the time or don´t like your class/build etc, so please keep that in mind. This should just be a list of potential opponents, you don´t have to do anything you don´t want when you are sign up here.
Then just talk to eachother.

How can i sign up?

Duels:
Write down your server and maybe some other informations (favorite class/build, charactername) to make you more attractive.
You only have to write down your server, you can whisper the account name (but character names are easier to remember sometimes) on the left side of the post. Please keep it short.

Example (me):

• Kodash, Znark.3984, Vrukki (DD-Ele)

GvGs:
Write down your server, your guildname, the guildtag, the size (or different sizes) of your GvGs and a few contact persons (account name or a character name).

Example (my guild):

• Kodash, Rookie Crew [RC], 2 vs 2 – 6 vs 6, Contact: The Purple Wing, Yaro, Vrukki

[RC] is looking for Mini-GvGs against Piken and Sfr (2vs2 until 6vs6, we aren´t more players ^^). Maybe we could find some other guys to make a 10vs10 if there is a higher chance to find other guilds then.

Im also looking for Duels, especially against non-Condispammers since i only fight against these builds while roaming most of the time.

Don´t be shy

If anyone wants to duel me, then just whisper me ingame or send me a lovely letter. The queues on the AR- and BB-Borderlands seem to be short, we could also try out this new arena for sure

I´m up for duels. Just whisper Vrukki (Kodash).
Although i don´t know if duells are really possible, i even have Skilllags when soloroaming, without facing a blob.
But maybe someone is up for some fun (i would also like to try out some Underwater stuff).

Sorry for kitten the English language again.

Im not talking about Backstabs. But the amount of Confusion out of Stealth (which makes it hard for me to reach “Safe Zones” with Skills like RTL or Burning Speed so i get out of range and win some time) is just to kitten high. I didn´t know where to move because i wasn´t able to see them and so was always under pressure.

In terms of Initiative, well they were 4 people. One Smoke field from one Thief, they all Heartseekerd through it and then they are still 3 thieves left who can spam confusion.

Of course, they were a bit coordinated and i wasn´t good in these situations, but i guess it is very, very, very easy to play (one Smoke Field, everyone Heartseekers and then press 4). It just shows how you can absolutely abuse runes. Getting ganked isn´t really a problem for me, but it is the way how you do that.

I don´t want to attack other perplexity players with that post (i saw it on a necro and it was interesting, because he couldn´t spam it like Thief Pistol 4) but i really think that this rune needs a rework.

Yes. That would be cool. A good way to stop the PvD. Ignore the doors, just fly in

First of all, english isn´t my native language, but i hope you can understand me. I really know that it´s definitely not the yellow from the egg, so excuse.

I heard about a guild in WvW once. For all the people out there who search for duells. Since the forum searching function seems to be bugged and i couldn´t find it, i´m gonna ask here.

Could someone of the guild maybe invite me? It´s really hard to find good duells that days.

PS: This is also for all the others who are searching for duelling partners. Im on Kodash (EU) and you can always ask me for duells. But sometimes i cant reply you quick, because i get hunted by zergs.
The tier 1 Blobs are getting more greedy these days..
