You can buy Red Lantern decorations for your Guild Hall during Lunar New Year. Those Red Lanterns can also be turned into other decorations. Just don’t upgrade your Essence of Luck to Purple or else you won’t be able to turn them in for those.

I’ve been capped on Magic Find for a long time now and I also struggle with this. I normally just consume them to save on space. I wish I could gift them to people!

Yes I have the Aspect Amulet.

I have full ascended Ventari Armor, Weapons and all the Ascended Ventari Trinkets. Unfortunately, there is no Ascended Ventari Backpack sad face.

“Players might be unable to buy this amulet because it isn’t listed at the laurel merchant. It is believed to be caused by players having completed all Story Journal achievements of the first four episodes before the introduction of ascended trinkets as rewards for said completion.”

This is my case. I have completed 100% of all of all the Living World Story achievements. Therefor, that may be the reason why its available to me.

if that won’t help:

does she using any macros?
i’ve read some posts here regarding randomly pressing keys without touching the keyboard, turned out it were macros

does she (accidently) changed anything at the in-game’s control settings?
every action can have 2 different keys linked to it – she should check the control settings

i’d also like to see a task-manager screenshot to see if some other application, that are running in the background may be responsible for this

I will first have her delete the local.dat file, but to my knowlege all that ever did was save your login info unless I am mistaken.

I will also ask her to go into her Control Options and have her use the Restore Defaults function.

She is using the logitech G510 keyboard. I do believe it has macro functions if you wish to create some, but she had the same problem on a previous keyboard so I ruled that one out.

I am considering asking her to attempt to reinstall her keyboard drivers but I am unsure as to if she should try to reinstall the default windows keyboard drivers or the Logitech Drivers,

Hello Everyone

I am placing this issue on behalf of a friend of mine who asked me for help resolving this issue.

I am quite good at resolving technical issues but this one really stumps me. I have done extensive research on the issue, finding only mention of a solution, having her try it and it not resolving the issue.

While she is playing, she will randomly press the enter button, then not realize it is still pressed down and continue pressing keys on her keyboard resulting in something like:

1222211111333

Appearing in chat and her not doing any of the actions associated with her key presses. She has told me over and over that she is not pressing the Enter key at all but it keeps randomly happening, resulting in her freezing since the key presses are considered part of the chat.

I have searched all over the internet. I have found something similar with ALT or Enter keys from others with no solutions at all.

I have asked her to try to remove the enter key of her keyboard, clean it and replace it. I have asked her to try another keyboard. I have also found what I thought may be a solution by going into the Windows Keyboard Properties and Lowering the Repeat Rate value in small increments at a time.

What I believe this may be relating to is Random KeyDown Events but I have no idea how to fix something like this. I can find many reports of the same thing happening for various reasons but no solutions.

I have also asked her to update her anti-virus and do a complete scan, which she says she has.

Does anyone have any idea on how I can help her resolve the issue?

Thank you for taking a minute to read my suggestions. There are so many suggestions in here, please excuse me if these have already been mentioned.

My first suggestion would be to have google like arguments to the search field. Often I will put in a precise search term for an item but the item I am looking for will not be one of the top hits, or on the first page for that matter, for this reason, I think it would be a nice idea to have symbols like " " to make sure the exact search terms and only those are searched, or even to add – in a search to exclude search terms.

My next idea would be that, having alot of items I am buying and selling at any given time, I would like for your listings in “My Transactions” to be listed more like items that are listed in your crafting panel, with expandable or colapsable categories for what you are buying and selling, even a search field within “My Transactions” to find previous or current things you are trading.

You could also have a feature similar to the gemstore that would have “Recent Trades” or “Items you have most traded” with a listing of those items on the right hand side.

Next, I think it would be an interesting idea to be able to edit the listing prices of your trades directly from “My Trades” rather then to take your items down and then to have to re-list them again.

Now this next item I believe would be good but would result in more mail but I believe would still be beneficial because it would only affect those who are selling. I feel that whenever you list an item at what you believe is a decent price, that’s it. However, I feel that it would be super beneficial that if you have an item listed and you were to receive an official mail from the Black Lion Trading Co. when someone puts in a custom order for the same item that you are selling, so that you at least get the notification and have a choice to sell or to keep it listed.

A detailed description of the issue that you’re experiencing:
I pre-ordered a second account, for someone in my household. I received a purchase confirmation and I regiwred it. I have proof of doing both. Whenever I try to login. I can login to the website using the second account and change the password.

Whenever I attempt to login using the second account, even after registering using the email and the key provided, I get the following error message:

“Grace period has ended!

You have not applied a retail code to your account and the grace period has ended. Until you apply a retail serial code, you will be unable to continue playing Guild Wars 2. Please visit the retailer where you pre-purchase or pre-ordered Guild Wars 2 to obtain your retail serial code.

OK"

And This was a pre-order for Guild Wars 2 Digital Edition. I was unable to login during the headstart and I am still unable to login to this date.
