If they had gotten a voice actor with more…shall we say….range he would have been more likeable. I feel the same way with all sylvari voices, sadly.

From what I’ve seen both my mentors (vigil and priory) die. I’m assuming a mentor from whispers will die as well.

Worst quest ever. Just saying.

It’s really glitchy. I tried and failed a dozen times and once when I fell I ported to the NPC. I’m happy I got to finish the quest but it’s very…frustrating.

I think that Orr would become a memorial to the dead. It’s hard to settle some place where so much war and death happened, but it happens, I mean people rebuilt and live in Hiroshima after the bombing so why not Orr?

As far as the bodies fertilizing the ground…maybe it would but I wouldn’t to eat anything that came out of “human compost”

I’m not going to pretend that I know everything about farming but after the major tsunami a few years ago they had to ban the locals from catching and eating the fish because of the likely possibility that they had feasted on the dead and would therefore be unhealthy for humans. Wouldn’t soil work in a similar way?

In a GW2 book there is Dougen Keene (sp?) and Ember Doomforge. I wouldn’t say they were buddies but they had a grudging respect for each other.

I would imagine that it is firmer than human skin but supple like a leaf. Picture wet bark and how it feels. I would imagine it feels like that…but not wet.

I currently have a level 17 elementalist and she’s very squishy in comparison to my guardian (duh lol) and I’ve tried different specs, kiting, element swapping and I always seem to nearly get my butt kicked. I was wondering if you guys have any tips (besides stop sucking lol)

Can guardians be pure DPS or do they have to tank?

As others have said, it’s probably just a bug that will get fixed.

That said I’ve remade soooo many sylvari toons because they didn’t look as good in game. I’ll spend 15 minutes tweaking a toon and then I see her in game and I’m like “EWWWW”

Hello!

I picked up GW2 about two weeks ago and my main is a guardian. I want to be a tank and I just dinged 35 today and found out I can do dungeons. Before I waltz in there and start hitting stuff I’d like to know the following:

1.) Do I need to keep threat. If so, how?
2.) What is the best build?
3.)Any other tips?

I’d at least like a barber shop (like in World of Warcraft)

It was hard for me to pick a hairstyle during the character creation because I liked multiple styles.

Sure it’s their character to make fun of but he was a very likable, adorable character so…bad taste.

I’d just like to applaud the Guild Wars team for making homosexual couples so…how do I put this…normal sounds wrong, because of course it’s normal…but like… it’s no big thing…wouldn’t look twice because it’s how it should be…does that sound right?

It wasn’t extremely obvious or stereotypically flamboyant. It just was. That’s how it should be. I was pleasantly surprised to see that.

(See Sylvari personal story with the Green Knight) and I really thought that was cool. It blended so seamlessly with everything else like it should be. I hadn’t seen a homosexual couple in a game before.

Logan is actually my favorite character and I don’t think he’s that dumb…I think the writer was just a little silly.

I’m in the middle of reading the book (and I cheated so I know the ending) and they all do bicker in a corny 1980’s dysfunctional family way and descriptively I have to go back and re-read parts of the story because it didn’t flow right. “How did that get there?” “How did they do that?” and such. However, that is often the case with MMO novels that I’ve read so I won’t really fault the author.

I believe that Logan is a very complex character who is, in general, conflicted and unsure of his place in the world and is insecure with his values —especially with everything changing so rapidly-- and he’s struggling to find what is right in the world when there is so little of it.
