I think replacing Last Refuge in the Shadow Arts trait line (adept tier minor trait) with Hidden Thief (master tier major trait VIII) would be a good way to provide utility from the adept tier minor trait. In its current form, Last Refuge is far too situational to be useful and often hurt one’s ability to survive rather than help to save them. Both the Deadly Arts and Trickery trait lines provide ways to add utility to the Thief’s steal ability, and I think this would be another way to foster build variety because the Hidden Thief trait synergizes well with many of the adept tier major traits in the Shadow Arts line (IV, V, VI).
