I’m from Australia too and have been part of TC since launch. I’ve never really missed any events here because of the time zone. Some maps are less populated than others, but there are always people around to play with.

I completed this puzzle earlier today. I had also completed the Mad king puzzle too. Now in comparison, it is a fair bit easier to complete. A guildie of mine who couldn’t finish the mad king puzzle finished this one on the very first day. It took me a couple of tried to get it, compared to 4 hours on the mad king one.

Things that were done better in this one:
1. having snowballs to throw at others to pass the time while waiting,
2. Being able to see others do it while waiting.
3. Having split parts so not too many people are crowded together, though they were differnt, it wasn’t hard to figure out where to go.
4. A timer in the form of losing HP added a sense of urgency without putting on too much pressure and gave us enough time to position ourselves for tougher jumps.

After completing this once i actually felt liek doing it more as it was very pleasent and people who fell earlier on were having fun watching others and playing with the snowballs.

Suggestion for next jumping puzzles:
Make a non timed one. Have a huge area with multiple paths, but limited jumps. Different coloured platforms will give x amount of jumps, once you’ve run out of jumps you get ported to the start of the puzzle and let some platforms move around for added complexity. This way people actually have to think about where to go. It adds the puzzle element to the puzzle. Just my thoughts

Since you said you’’’ be farming Orr this build is goos as it makes use of the VoJ coming off CD everytime sometihing dies, you can pop it and give might to everyone in your group or just people who are around you.

With this you can pretty much use any weapon you feel like, i normally go for the staff to tag multiple mobs and couple that with the GS, since you mentioned you don’t want to use GS you can go with hammer as it has some AOE, or you could go with sceptor and focus/torch (torch #5 has decent aoe to tag thing at low range).

With the traits i usually swap them for what i need for the group or the situation. Hope this was helpful to you

For swamping mobs I would recommend going 15 in radiance and 5 in virtues. That way the voj will refresh each time you kill a mob, and by pressing it you get might, mob gets blinded (you mitigate) and they get vulnerability. That has worked wonders for me while leveling an also still once I hit 80. For swiftness you got your shouts and staff 3 ability

I run the same build as you, but i ahve gone with the PVT gear from karma.

I am not an expert, but in regards you your gear, I only feel like you may have a bit less power and precision. How much crit chance do you ghave, can’t really see it in the screen shot. What majors are you using in honor? I usually go for the CDR when im bymyself and if im in a group EM.

Im not sure how much toughness is too much, but with my gear i have enough vitality to back myself up if i need it. I have a posted my build angear here https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/guardian/Need-advice-on-gear, please let me know you thought on that.

Also on that note, do you play pvp/WvW or pve dungeons

Oh yeah i forgot to mention it, i mostly play a lot of dungeons but also go into WvW a lot, so basically both pve and WvW.

The build that i am running atm is 0/15/30/20/5 and use that with a GS and hammer combo, occasionally swap between staff/torch/sceptor for some ranged play.

I currently have 4 pieces of power/toughness/vitality gear and the other two (head/shoulder) i haven’t yet upgraded from rare.

Haven’t yet decided on the runes i am going to use, but since i already have all the toughness and vitality i was thinking going withsomething that gave me more crit and crit damage.

Also have 2 emerald rings, 1 karka earring (no upgrade). Amulet and other earring not yet upgraded.

AS far as my playstyle goes i use a lot of Ah healing with bothe sword and hammer, and i can hold my own really well and really enjoy playing with groups wher i can heal myself constantly along with giving out boons to everyone left right and center.

My question is, what should i fill out with the slots that i have remaining to upgrade? namely the helm, shoulder, earring, amulet.
Should i go all out with p/v/t gear? or use knights?

Any help or advice would greatly be appreciated.

obtained 74% crit damage while maintaining that level of Thoughness, Power, Vitality and Precision, I don’t see any food either, is it photoshoped?

The client and the forum doesn’t ask for the authenticator pin anymore. This has happened since the latest patch. Prior to that all was working fine.

Charr guardian

Had a lot of people complain about my size and the other charrs around the area, but I just ignored them and soldiered on. Took me about 4 hours (not straight) and I got it. When doing it on second sitting there were only 3 of us trying it, which made the first part easy and less cluttered . When I got to the top I had a message asking if I wanted to switch to the main server from the overflow, What am I crazy??

I have been able to complete all of the events. There was a time when I though I would no get enough bags to open for the achievement, but to my good luck I got enough drops to make it. But the hardest one would have to be the jumpin puzzle. I was almost about to give up on it, but the planets aligned and I finally got it, when I was at the top I got I got a pop up asking if I wanted to move to the main server from the overflow, wasn’t a hard choice. Took me about 4 hours but I finally got it

You could also try asking in map chat to find out which area is being attacked or where are people needed to either defend or take a point.

Look for commander icons on the map, maybe whisper them and ask if you could e any help – like take a small group and create diversions or assist them

Like I said above may be form a group of your own and start takin points

Had the exact same experience with my guild earlier today. When we steppe back that particular encounter reset itself and we tried again but with the same result. We’ve all put in a bug report.
We are on Tarnished Coast

I too have had several issues with this map, it is basically unplayable. I can’t complete any of the hearts, none of the Dynamic events works, they are there, they are active,but the NPCs are just either standing around or running around in circles.

Was really looking forward to complete this map last night, but it was unplayble. This is on Tarnished Coast server btw, and in my experience it has been like this for 2 days now. From what i have been told by the map chat and Lion’s Arch chat it has been like this for longer.
