Whats the map(s) population like on a T1 server? -Another question I was curious about and was wondering if that can get answered as well.

Will my World Vs World experience change if I transfer servers?

I play on Stormbluff isle (I haven’t really played in 5+ months and was thinking of returning to play heavily again) and from what I last experienced WvW felt a little dead or rather just a farming thing for low level alts. Is this generally how WvW has become or is it just my server?

When I last played WvW felt like an actual battle and we’d be fighting in groups all over the map monitoring what was being taken, or which group needed reinforcements.

Simply put, I don’t see much of a difference.

I’ll take WoW as an example since many people have played it.

WoW: GW2:
BiS gear through raids BiS gear through crafting
Required only in raids Required only in Fractals
New tier every 2-3 months New slot every 2-3 months

So, wheres the difference? Focus on the second line item…required only in raids / required only in fracta.s. True, currently ascended gear is only required in fractals similarly raid BiS gear in WoW is only required in raids(you can do any heroic content or daily quests with minimal gear.)

Wheres the difference? Why has GW2 been put on a pedestal, first by arenanet and now by the community, as a game where gear doesnt matter and isnt required in any part of the game except fractals. WoW, the almighty gear treadmill of them all, is the same way if you look at it like this. So why is GW2, in your eyes, a unique snowflake here?

The high end gear can be obtained through crafting & drops. But the difference from WoW is, its not needed to compete against other players. It’s fine being full exotic and still very viable. Theres no new gear every 2-3 months, they stated the reason for ascended armor. I prefer GW2 over WoW any day simply because skill is required to be good in certain situations, and I do not need a healer on me 24/7.

WoW, you work hard for gear that you need in order to compete in high end content, compared to GW2 where you can buy a full set of beserker gear (Exotic) for atleast 10g-15g. You can compete in high end content with exotic gear. Heck even rare gear but that’s a stretch.

For me, its fixed. I can finally sell items & retrieve money again. ^.^

Yeah I got this too. Can buy as often and as much as I like but can’t sell anything, just get an error message.

Do you have any money on the pick up tab? If so can you pick it up?

Funny, not having any problems here.

It’s not everyone, its only a select number of people. I’ve asked in map chat and I get several people saying yes, and several people say no. It still would be nice to get fixed..

I wish they would see this and respond..

So last night I was going to sell an item on the BLTC and it took awhile longer then usual. Next thing I knew my item was gone and I had no money show up on the pick-up tab. Then I tried selling a worthless item and it kept saying “Error attempting to sell” knowing this issue is common (the error part) I reloged to see if that would fix it, which it didn’t.

Now its still doing that and no word on any fix. I just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this?

I’ve already submitted a ticket.

It’s a bug right now and hopefully the developers are reading what’s going on right now with all these reports. I hope its gets fixed soon..

I also have this bug.. I sold an item worth 7 gold and 3 silver and I have no transaction of it, nor do I have my money.. submitted a ticket.

I’m having the same issue! I really hope this gets resolved and that I am able to get my 7 gold back..

I was playing today and randomly I get logged out and it says “Someone has logged into your account from a different location”.

So I changed my password & I checked the security tab and no one was logged in from a different location. No previous login’s either from a different location. No emails from Guild wars 2 asking to verify the locations either. Only 2 locations were able to log in to my account and that my upstairs computer and my downstairs. (I use 1 when I want to use teamspeak, and the other for a better performance. Long story short).

Is this just a internet bug or did someone actually log in to my account?

Also I could not log in to the forums for a very long time. It wouldnt say wrong name or password. Just take me back to log in screen?..

2 questions, 1 thread, sorry.

So I played this game in beta & had early access. I recently started playing and loving the game all over again. I just wanted some feedback towards 2 questions:

1.) Is there any way that I can have my friend try out the game and see if she likes it?

2.) What stuff is there available to do at level 80?

I stopped playing around November – December.

I want to know this also.

Yeah my title says it all. Uhm, is there patch notes anywhere?
60 minute long down time is pretty long for this game considering the other downtimes.

Try the Metrica Province fire elemental world event.

That one is tough. Probably the only challenge I’ve had in this game, plus a few quest in my PS.

Yes, I been playing 200+ hours (Casual player) & By far its been well worth it. I don’t feel forced to go to level 80 in order to have all the content. I can level my alts, enjoy the landscape.. etc.
