I am trying to download GW2 onto my computer. It used to work without issue a few months ago. I disabled all securities and firewalls blah blah and it will, I’m assuming, download the the installer, initialize, then go to the launcher. except that when it goes to the launcher it is invisible. i can click the icon on my toolbar and watch as the top of what looks like a normal window minimizing and opening back up. I’ll right click the GW2 icon and click GW2 game client then shows me a, after a long while, that I have another game running and also that I may not have the right securities. I brought up C.A.D. and there was a second one running, so I kept on it and closed it after retrying again in admin mode with all privileges allowed. All drivers are updated and graphics card is Geforce GTX 660ti so I know I am good to go there. No idea what is going on after 6 hours of trying to trouble shoot this last night. Please help!
I am having the same problem, and I have tried with no success to fix this problem. I have turn off all the securities blah blah blah, and I am all out of ideas. tried a ton of different things. I am going to maybe try and install it using an actual physical disk? maybe that will help? i dont know. Please help! And, why isn’t there a phone number to call?
