I remember those epic battles as well, it was back in the days i didnt have a badge yet, and coordinated the EB anyway.

the reason it was 2 am, is cause the 20 golems we had ready earlier, got wiped on the server crash, so it was delayed quite a bit.

However, there are 30-40 more ppl on at that time than normally, just because they wanted to stay around. Something that makes me proud to be a piken.

It might have taken us 50 golems totals, and it might not have been the smoothest golem run with all the randoms, but in the end, it was 100% worth it.

Nice work this night Piken. Yesterday evening when I left the game at around 10 pm I couldnt have imagined this development.

We didnt have any problems to manhandle you guys on eternals all day long, except that little Klovan accident in the afternoon when we have been too late one minute. but I really took that personally and my mates and me kicked you back to your own keep and later we had there a kind of fun with some siege in front of the ruins.

On primetime til 10:00 pm we have always been leader of the scoreboard. And now I see that you must have been very busy. Unfortunately. ^^ But if you really were able to get on 10-20 golems twice, well, its well-deserved. Our nightshift must have had a kinda frustrating night. ^^ We will repair it, I guess. ^^

Ye, about that klovan accident… GG!
I guess GG has a thing for golems.

N yeah, i think we have set up around 50 golems in EB yesterday, of which 20 got wiped on server crash and another 20 on the green keep (which we did take in that attempt, 20 alphas and 1 omega proved just enough to get both gates down) and we used the other 10 to take your towers.

its a good thing piken has a lot of skilled craftsmen, cause the golem factory can never stop building!!

Held our own against the doubleteaming in EB a whole lot better than the day before. much further than QL and durios they did not come. Split up even between FR and RS and managed to keep them out of our other towers.

RS were actually lucky that the server crashed… had 20 golems ready to have some fun with them… server crash came, all golems gone. As if they knew…. JK JK ^^

Decided that we wernt gonna give up that easily and made a new golem army. Marched on to SM and later green keep. Was good to see that this time around, you put up a bit more of a fight. Still not good enough.

We wernt going to let you keep your towers this time around though. However, you did take our golems down in the keep attack… np, build some more golems, march on klovan, take wc from FR and take aldons. Had some trouble with Jerrifers, nothing we couldnt handle though.

A bit overdue, but meh, been busy…

It was our pleasure supplying the golems and making something like this possible. It just shows how dedicated PS can be, staying up way longer than normally, jus to close the? gap between PS and AR. It was very satisfying to see us jump up 10k and overtake AR, then to see us expand even further throughout the following days.

Now that was the original post i had, but forgot to post it, then pc crashed and what not else…

In response to the hacking GG member, we know who it is and shall act how we think is fit.
This means he got 1 warning, which will be the only warning he gets, if we see him do it again, he will be reported by all of us and kicked. So far only me and my 2nd in command know who it is, and we would like to keep it that way. No need for calling names or flaming.
We like to keep our name high in the WvW scene, so just a reminder: GG does not tolerate hackers and will act accordingly.

This however does not mean our ownage that night was less deserved, cause it was. TY everyone for staying up late, helping GG achieve this awesome result. We could not have done this without you!

Furthermore I’d like to thank Murael who is the least mentioned person in this all, but did supply at least 15 golems.

Well, that was a very interesting night in EB, involving naked girls and ginger bread…
Won’t go into details ^^

Decided to check on EB at around 3-4 am, since I was clearly awake and could not catch my sleep. Found out that our whole third was green, and I didnt quite like it. Called a few friends in and started recapping our stuff (5 man commander party ftw).

Our original plan was to ignore our keep and just rush SM cause why the kitten not. But taking out the oil and cannons took longer than expected, so our golems just took our keep in the time it took to take oil/cannons down. (kitten lvl 82 guards)

Tried the green keep, but you do seem quite fond of it, so took wc instead. luckily you were busy trying to retake klovan from the frenchies, so you didnt rlly care about the t3 tower on the other side that was being taken. (TY!! AR, for finally hitting something that is not red.)

Started upgrading everything before I left, really curious to see how it will be when i come home in about 7 hours…

In my defense, I was telling the story of The Obsydian and he didnt get a girl.
He got a dude, cause said girl likes looking at male butts.

but yeah, I guess I got lucky with her ^^

Short story for FS.

Once upon a time, there was an EB on the Piken Square server. It had no leaders and no guilds on it. Just randoms that gathered in small group scattered across the map. Amongst those randoms, there was a scout. He would tell of enemy movements, say how many there were, directing ppl there to defend.
People started recognizing this scout, and started to listen to the scout. He was there every day, just telling numbers and directing people.
Then the scout got a guildinvite from a new WvW guild, and got promoted to officer.
The newfound officer started directing bigger things, such as attacks on towers. And people still followed him. He earned their respect by making good decisions and in return they followed him to the end of the map and back if he so desired.
Unfortunately, the guild didnt last long, cause of an inactive leader, so the fresh officer decided to start his own guild, and unite all the randoms in the EB, under a single banner.

That scout was me, and i am now leader of Goodgame [GG], the guild that is pretty much Solo running the EB for Piken Square. Quite succesfully i might add, holding our third is quite a challenge since we have to spread out across the map, but I am proud of all of my members.

Just an inspiring short story for all the FS out there, i hope you guys get your act back together.

Got the gate down, but then got wiped on the bridge, but man you guys were persistent thanks to some very dedicated ppl running supplies from the keep.
It took us a lot of hard work, and a ton of dieing to keep it tho (i alone died at least 25 times on your catas.) We have learned how to counter this strategy tho, so it wont get this close anymore.

All in all, a long but very worthwhile night and i was sorry to leave it at 4:30 in the morning….

(just a message to the FS: If u would stop backstabbing us every time we took SM, we might just leave you alone a bit, but i have to say, it was great fun seeing you defend from kordash at the gate, while we were capping durios in the lords room, after we cata’d down the wall)

On the topic of WvW, we had an awesome day again in WvW.
We had to get our act together though, after losing mendons and anzalias. Luckily we got organised and you could see the results.
After a tough fight we got T3 SM from FS, only to lose it to Kodashians 20 mins later.
We also managed to take Durios and WC, so go Piken
Later we had an epic threeway battle inside the lords room, trying to get it from the Kodashians, which we finally won after half an hour. GG everyone

I’d first like to state that this is a very biased thread… giving FS full name, but only give PS, Piken… very disappointed

Had a lot of fun with both servers today in EB, even if our BL may crumble a bit PS stands strong in EB. Always.

FS got a taste of PS golem power as well, losing durios within 5 mins, while they were banging on SM doors, then losing Bravost within 5 mins, while banging on Durios doors ^^

Kordash seems to be more worried about their towers, couldnt really work something out there, but expect more ^^

On behalf of Goodgame [GG], TY Kordash and FS, for giving us a good time in EB, it has been a few weeks since ive been really enjoying WvW.

Lynn, stop raging over it, its a problem all servers have/can cause.
And if you do have to rage, dont get Goodgame involved, or it will lose its Goodname.
In here you express your opinion, and you are not representing the entirety of the guild here.

I don’t think its abusing something rather than just plain joy of having a zerg and using it. And if we have enough ppl online and in one spot to DPS a reinforced gate, i dont do it so we are invisible.

Even though I am quite flattered by the fact people choose PS as the server to join, I have to say that I am getting quite annoyed with the newcomers. PS had their stuff sorted out, built it up from scratch and I loved seeing how we grew over the weeks. From being stomped by AM a few weeks ago, we had a rather balanced start (altho, unlike most other servers, PS weekend is weaker than weekdays) and won, and we would have won with or without from russians or vabbians. This week, although maybe having more people, was way more stressful than the week before, with me not being able to get my guild in EB, with queues going up to 40 mins. I love every second of WvW, but this week has been less fun for me than ever before.
However.
We, seeing how PS grew and looking at the time and effort we as a guild and many other original PS guilds have put into making PS what it had become last week, will never leave PS. We will not leave PS to people who will jump ship at the earliest signs of failures and i hope the other REAL PS guilds are thinking likewise. Just my two cents there.
