O great now I feel like an idiot. I guess in all of my fractalling I have never done 31 before since they added the instabilities.

So I was doing a fractal run the other day and something bugged where the Mossman from the swamp fractal popped up and attacked us every 2 minutes then went in to steakth again and would disappear. He did not show up during the final boss fractal fortunately. I think this was the Mossman that spawns where you run the wisps, as we fought Bloomhunger for the end of the fractal.

Please remove that link. The are already aware who and what is going on. By posting the link you are encouraging more people to visit, and give them more of the attention that they seek, encouraging more attacks.

Nice job! I believe you had someone from your server asking for BG to help in another post. Looks like you were able to get organized and get it done. Did you guys use 1 group or 2 for dps?

This isn’t “most group events” this is meant to be hard. I’m pretty sure Anet has specifically said this event needs to be organized with guilds. With all the hype over the event and overflows right now guesting is our best option on Blackgate. Not only is organization during the fight important, but our commanders put all the time in between spawns making sure people aren’t afk, giving people an ice bow to start the event, and making sure even those that haven’t beaten it yet now exactly what to do. Despite having 150+ on the teamspeak the only people talking were a couple officers and those on turrets.

I imagine once this living story event is over the timer for Teq is not going to be as short. Guilds/servers can then easily plan when they are going to beat Teq, and also by that time everyone who goes will know what to do right away and the mass organization won’t be as necessary for an hour ahead of time.

We finished with over 5 minutes left. It is hard, but hardly impossible. Whether in overflows or “low-pop” servers don’t give up or get discouraged.

Manoa, this is pretty much what is happening to Blackgate currently from all the other people guesting over.

What happened: with the new build from the patch, those who were dedicated on Blackgate were fighting Teq in the old build, while those who patched got in. In order to get everyone that was in BG Teamspeak and ready to fight organized, we all went to ET.

Unfortunately, with the population in Blackgate (both guests and local) getting everyone in who is active and on Teamspeak guesting to a low population server seems to be the best option for us.

Regardless, our guesting to ET showed other people the general strategy. With proper organization other servers can do it as well. Eventually it won’t even be necessary for all the teamspeak once people know the mechanics and how best to deal damage.
