Following The Dragon’s Reach Part 2 in season 2 of the Living World, I’m supposed to receive mail regarding the next step called The Ghosts of Fort Salma. No mail has arrived. So I’m stuck. Anyone else encounter this? Ideas how to work around? Thanks!
I agree with Foghladha. One of the best things about WvW has been being able to jump right into the fight. It was sold by ArenaNet, early on, as “anyone can help with the fight.” I think abandoning that approach is a mistake.
I’ve had the same problem pop up in the last 24 hours. Can’t stay connected for more than about 30 seconds. Tried all the usual stuff. Nothing.
For about the last three weeks, every time I shut down the game an error report box pops up asking me to send a report. I did so a few times noting that the only thing going wrong is the box itself popping up.
I’ve updated drivers. I’ve re-installed the game. I’ve defragged. I’ve cussed and spit.
Still popping up.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Yep, that’s it. Thanks!
A buddy of mine attempted to send me 20g worth of armor through the game’s mail system. It did not arrive instantly (should it?). We waited 30 minutes. I logged on and off to see if that would help.
Should we be worried? Will it eventually arrive?
It seems to me we have a nomenclature problem here. “One-time event” could easily describe an event that happens during one specified period of time but repeats during that time. Example: one-time event on 18 November runs every hour on that day.
What this was: a one-start event.
Bring on the one-time events! But, please, no more one-start events.
1. I really appreciate this great game.
2. I really appreciate your attempt at creating a special event.
But, wow, what a flop. The first phases were so bugged that I simply gave up. It was a waste of time. And so the fact that I was unable to be at my computer at the exact hour of the final event was a matter of indifference. Didn’t care. I would like to have cared. A “one time” event? As in one hour out of 24? You left out half the planet. It’s a global game. Geez.
