Almost ready to give up

It’s kinda weird to see all these thread saying that people arn’t enjoying the Necro class.

I am just now, at level 53, getting into the swing of it. Running around with a staff and dagger – droppn’ wells, going in and out of Death Shroud, using my minions (which are not useless if you use their combat skills) to knock down/paralyze dudes.

The more I understand how and when to use certain skills, the more I am seeing how I can help/be effective in small group battles (like Dungeons) and what not.

There was awhile before I had most of my skills filled out that I wasn’t quite sure what I should be doing in battle, but now that I have someone effect armor and a better understanding of how the skills work it’s been a blast.

Maybe the Necro class just isn’t for you ? I know that I also enjoyed playing doing the a Mesmer/Necro Combo in GW1 with Livia as a MM… So the class has always been fun for me.

I to miss the LFG panel that was in GW1.

+1 on bringing something like that back.

I can kind of see why it’s not there – letting anyone bring a person into the party makes it much easier then in GW1 to get a group going, and as it is right now you generally only have to shout once or twice to find people who what to do the same Dungeon as you. But in time it would be nice to have something like what we had in GW1 to get people together for whatever type of run they might want to do. I would say there are much bigger things that need to be tackled in the game right now.

I feel that Dungeon difficulty is fine

I feel like the Dungeons themselves are fine, we as players and MMO vets (myself and my friends alike) just need to take a step back look at how GW2 plays as appose to the MMO’s we are used to.

That being said, I feel as if there should be a “beginner” level (15-20?) Dungeon that doesn’t offer a whole lot in the way of reward, BUT, allows players some experience working together and learning what the Dungeons are all about before nose diving into AC and gettingkitten because at level 30 AC/Story is “too hard.”
