In my opinion, this is not fair. WvW is my main part in gw2 and as a new player in pvp i tried to solo rank for the last 3 weeks. I understand the reason to hide it, especially in big zerg fights to minimize visual clutter…
Could you not just implement something like mouseover or if you click a Character?
It’s like working hard for a legendary and at the end everyone else sees a default skin… :/
