Guild Wars 2

I’m not really saying i want something to be similar to the ranger but just a build that works or has a goal… I’m new to the game so i dont completely understand the skill tree and the runes and stuff like that as well as others. I also find the elementalist confusing with the 4 schools of magic, do i have to use all those abilities in pvp ?

Hey everyone, I usually play a ranger but i wanted to try an elementalist in spvp. I heard they are weak at the moment but i still want to try it out.

Can anyone suggest a proper build for an elementalist that i should use ? Even if they are weak i still want to at least play it how it is meant to be played and have the right build so i don’t kitten myself even more

Thanks for the response, so I’m guessing the first build is what people call the spirit build and the second is a trapper build ?

How does the trapper build work exactly ? I have played the spirit build and i thought it was cool just cause of the survivability it offers lol

Hello everyone, i was wondering what the cookie cutter spvp build is for rangers these days with the patch changes ? I don’t play very often so i am not that in tune with changes made in patches and what they actually do lol….

All i know is i get wrecked a lot in spvp and never really get to kill anyone…. i figure there is some sorta build the hardcore spvp guys are using since the patch so does anyone have an idea what that would be ??

Ohhh sorry i guess i misread your post, without looking at what anyone else posted i would think it was an overheating issue maybe ? lol

Mega, i had this crashing issue for like 2 weeks…… I would get a black screen and only see the cursor and hear in game music. I would have to restart the client to get the game going again. I unplugged my router and went straight into the modem and havent had the issue since.

I dont notice intense stuttering but i find that the when looking around and moving the camera it seems sluggish even though my fps is 50-60 +

Try going to your routers settings by entering the IP address through a web browser and disable SPI ( router firewall ) and see if that makes a difference

But also i think disabling your router firewall ( SPI ) stops the black screen

Unplugging my router got rid of my black screen error also

Hey Taz and anyone else with this random black screen issue. If you are using a router please unplug it and plug directly into your modem using a cable, take the router out of the equation completely and plug your computer directly into the modem. Tell me if that fixes the problem please.
