So, as most people know, Silver Doubloons used to be next to impossible to obtain. There weren’t even 250 of them on the TP, which was unfortunate considering that you need that many to make the Vial Of Quicksilver needed for The Juggernaut. However, right around the time that the first Flame and Frost update was initiated, I noticed that the amount of Silver Doubloons on the TP began to fluctuate rapidly on a hourly basis. More and more keep getting injected and people just keeping buying them, and the price has leveled out around 40 silver for right now. My question is this; has the drop rate on Silver Doubloons increased, or has someone (or multiple persons) who has stockpiled Silver Doubloons just decided to start throwing them on the TP? It would be nice to know so I can decide if I should wait a bit and see if the price goes down due to increased supply versus decreasing demand, or if I should go out and buy some gems to get enough gold (I only have 18g right now plus about 10-15g in crafting mats, so yeah…).
So I tried converting gold to gems again and buying something. The conversion was successful, like last time. However, also like last time, upon purchasing an item from the Gem Store (Unidentified Red Dye), I was once again rewarded with nothing. Is this simply a problem with my account or the items in the Gem Store associated with the Valentines Day special offers?
I just converted gold into 400 gems to buy 2 Self-Style Hair Kits from the Gem Store, but I never received either of them in the mail. I made the transaction about thirty minutes before this post. Am I not supposed to receive said items almost instantaneously? I don’t like spending over 8g just to get nothing.

So I’m starting to go down the long, nerfed path to my Legendary. I need Molten Lodestones in order to create it. I know that Molten Lodestones drop from high level Fire Elementals. I also know that there are a lot of Embers in Fireheart Rise. My question is this: According to the GW2 Wiki, Embers are a basic kind of Fire Elemental. So, does this mean that I can try and farm Embers to try and get my Molten Lodestones? Do Embers constitute as true Fire Elementals? Or do I have to go to Cursed Shore and hunt around for Fire Elementals, or try and farm CoF (which is not that effective… my one Molten Lodestone came from two Molten Cores I put together in the Mystic Forge)?
I feel that I don’t fully understand MF. Say I have 100% MF with all my gear. That means I have a 10% to pick up uncommon loot. But, does that mean that I pick up uncommon loot:
a. 1/10 of all enemies that I kill (probably not, but you never know)
b. 1/10 of all enemies that drop anything
c. 1/10 of all enemies that drop gear (weapons, armor or upgrades)
d. Something I haven’t thought of
Any response would be helpful
