please fix this…

we are a small, tight knit adult guild comprised of mostly hardcore gamers. our focus is on quality, not quantity. no intimidating roster, no overwhelming website. a minimalist guild with a heart of gold, a good sense of humor, and an innocuous can of whoopkitten somewhere in its inventory.

thank you for joining us! my name is ametous, this is nimueh (pronounced nim-way), and we are every bit as excited to have you with us as you are to be in a new guild! everyone has something to offer in this guild, from knowledge to strategy to a helping hand, so dont be afraid to ask everyone, im sure someone will know the answer or can help you in some fashion.

we have guild meetings every sunday at 4pm pacific at the diving board in lions arch, so swing by if you can. meetings arent mandatory in this guild, and we dont expect much of its members, but its nice to know who is in the guild. we ask only that you follow the 3 guild rules:

1. speak your mind, but be as respectful as possible.

2. be helpful to your fellow guild mates.

3. never betray the trust of the guild or its members.

we are all adults in this guild, and everyone knows what is right and what is wrong. use common sense. its all about having fun, and everything should be taken with that in mind. we think that these 3 simple rules cover it all. pretty much dont be ankitten thats not too much to ask.

vetting will take at least a month in most cases, so if you are new to the guild you wont be able to withdraw things from the bank. use the honor system. if you have something that others might want, link it in the chat. members tend to give things away that they dont need or wish to share. like john said, the love you take is equal to the love you make. yes, i just quoted a beatle, get over it.

we have a facebook account where we post pics and various stuff daily. if you do not have a facebook, may i propose you get one for your in game character, so you can join in the conversation. one of the main ideas of this guild was to be as streamlined and simplified as possible. high maintenance requires less time to play, and that is not why we started this silly endeavor. we are totally open to suggestions and constructive criticism, as this game and guild is new to us.

C3 is the voice chat program that we use currently. it is still in beta, but it has been good to us throughout the betas, and up to even now. there are minor issues, but for the most part it is a great program. most of us get on C3 daily, making gameplay much more easier and fun! even if you dont want to talk, you can at least listen to what is being said and can therefore reply via text in game. it truly brings us closer together.

if you ever feel left out, please dont blame the guild. all of us are all over the place doing our own thing, but almost every time someone wants to group up they quickly have a full party. we have some rather sarcastic personalities in the guild, but its all in fun. no one wants to hurt anothers feelings, so dont let this discourage you. we want to all be a tight little family if possible. if you feel this guild isnt a fit for you in the long run, we wont take it personally. you should play with the people you feel comfortable around.
