Before being released, guild wars 2 went into a state religion (as I say), wich means, theres no point coming here and posting facts, however sad they are, there always come believers to say that the game is great, all are having fun, and there’s nothing wrong going on, the problem is only with yourself.
Are u in a wvw winner server already ?
So as I read forums and talk to friends and other gamers in guilds across various servers there is one pattern that seems to be clearly emerging. Servers are in a constant and never ending state of flux because guilds and groups are moving from one server to another for whatever reasons.
Some are saying because they want to be on a successful WvW server (but apparently don’t want to do it themselves). Some are saying because the pop is too low where they’re at and want to go somewhere better, meanwhile those servers they’re moving to, others are leaving because people are saying the pop is getting too high!
The problem is this won’t change as long as that free switch is still turned on. Things will just ebb and flow and constantly change. There will be no server pride or server community because people are switching servers every two weeks or less!
I’m on a heavy pop server who’s doing good in WvW. Recently we’ve gotten a massive influx of people who apparently want to be carried. Because of that the groups and guilds that helped make our server do well in WvW are talking about moving where there are (To quote) “less scrubs and bandwagoners”.
So they move and the scrubs that came for a carry follow them to the next place? Or the pop gets low and so another mass shift to another server which suffers the same nonsense?
This is all my opinion as are most things on a forum like this. I do believe that shutting down the free transfer service would be doing the players a GREAT service by allowing them to form community and server pride and stabilize the game a bit.
Just one single question, why the Report → Gold Seller doesnt block it also ?
One candy for the answer
Come on,, Reported mass botting yaks bend 3 days in a row.. with screenshots.

it seems they are woorking on it, some admin wil type this https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/On-Botting-and-What-We-re-Doing-About-It/page/10#post357936 , anyway i dont waste my time and patient reporting or taking care about it, anymore, ive been reporting a lot of boots have seen, but i still see them there.
I dont think reporting works, everywhere i go i see boting.
I think the reporting box is there only to make us feel like “they are watching for it, thats good”, but sincerely, they probably dont give a kitten.
An example ? Every day there are 3 bots (same owner) in Frostgeorge Sound (Stormbluff Isle server) called Wwqchen, Ccewei and Tyujy, and everyday there are ppl reporting them, that obvious a bot, and guess what, im seeing them here right now.
GW2 would have been #1 if it was more traditional. Too many radical changes with combat and roles. It sounded great theory, but in practice, it has been sub-par.
The elimination of Non-Trinity Roles gave us chaos in dungeons.
Target-of-target missing.
Enemy cast bars missing.
Missed skills/spells = Wasted Cooldowns.
Camera/Control mechanics sub-par and amateurish.
the list goes on.
Totally agree.
Had a reason for things being as they were, and now we’re seeing why they were.
Thats easy. Ppl dont manage groups cause there’s no point to do this, unless to zerg in wvw…
There was a reason why all mmorpgs assigned a specific function to each class, thats exactly the same reason why we all like to play this kind of game.
There are two drawbacks, at least, on doing every class able to do everything, the first is dont practice leadership and group organization and socialization, the other is if everyone is able to do everything is actualy the same to say that everyone is able to do nothing, which is easily observed in dungeons groups.
