I tested it monday, tested it on a guildmember in our arena, it works as intended but does not show in the combat log. I got healed for +/-1k and the target got damaged for +/-1.2k.

If Zhaitan was able to corrupt te land and air, it’s very much possible that Mordermoth is also corrupting the land and air and with that the nutrions in the land(soil) ,I mean it’s just all molecules. If the nutrions needed for the plantlife to grow are corrupted that would make corrupted plants(mordrem).

So by that reasoning Electric part is implied.

Well, it really depends on the way you look at it, allot of people see the word static as a description of the fact that an entity is currently not moving. I don’t know if you ever heard of statics, that is the study of an static entity that is in balance. I agree with Tj on the name change for the trait.

Id just like to point out there’s no shortage of classes with access to one press “I win” buttons. Necros themselves, for example, can load up every condition with a single action. So there no shortage of BS available. At least in that mimic example there’s a huge amount of prep time with the obtaining and storing the conditions. Then again it just sounds annoying.

Yeah, that’s true but I don’t think Gw2 needs more “Win” buttons. What also would be a problem with that mimic is, you would never know what could be coming from it, because the number and intensity of the conditions can both vary a lot. The coping of an ally’s boons does sound interesting though… It could also have some nice sync with Signet of Inspiration. Probably also OP depending on the situation though…

I’d be alright with the new mimic if it could simply copy boons off allies.

(Imagine the fun you could have when teamed up with a guardian or elementalist)

it would also be nice if changed so that it could copy all the conditions on an enemy store them then be used to apply them to a new enemy.

Storing the condition to apply them later seems kinda OP.
pair up with a condi necro, when the condi’s are @ the highest, you mimic it. Later vs an other foe you would have a huge opening in the form of any conditions and probably also in big stacks. It would be a to big effect for one skill I think.

Hello, I’ve been think about a build lately and hoping people could give me some feedback and suggestions.

The build is sort of a lock-down condition hybrid. The idea behind the build is being able to lock a foe down while to conditions will wear the foe down. Also being able to lock someone down during a group battle and make them unable to move thnx to the immobilize through Chaotic Interruption.

I have scepter as main hand weapon because I like all 3 of the skills for a condition build. I’m in doubt about my offhand weapon to combine it with. I can’t really decide between sword or pistol. I like sword because of the extra block and pistol for the higher bleed up time because the Iduelist hits more often.
I have staff in my second weapon set because in my opinion that weapons offers the most utility.

I am in doubt about the healing skill. Ether feats and Signet of the Ether both have the same base healing. I personally think Signet of the Ether is more viable because of the passive healing. You can utilize the passive healing because you got multiple blocks and interrupts.

On my utility bar I have 2 mantra’s. I believe that with the extra mantra uses it syncs well to use both mantra’s. I also have the reduces mantra recharge time altough I am not to sure if that is the best choice for that trait slot because it’s quite risky to charge mantra’s mid-combat. As my 3th utility I have decoy because it offers stealth and it offers an extra clone. For my elite I have mass invis I have that elite for the extra survive ability it offers.

For my sigils I have doom and energy on both my sets. I just like the extra poison doom offers. Energy offers me both more survive ability through dodges and extra clones.
I am not completely sure about my rune and amulet. I have chosen the rune of the nightmare because of the extra condi damage and duration and also for the free fear every once in a while. I have chosen the rabid amulet because I like the extra toughness, the condi damage is kinda obvious for a condi based build. The extra precision will make the bleeds on crit happen more often and give me my vigor on crit more often.

I hope I have been able to make clear what the idea behind my build is and hope I can receive some useful feedback. ^^

if only you knew how broken it is that the fat norn is able to block my fabulous body…

the problem I’m having with lupi is that I’m to busy evading him and dealing with the locusts swarms that I barely hit him.

that means you are proccing conditions on them. they’re invulnerable to conditions.

So I just roll my face on the keyboard and then I will randomly dodge and still survive? AWESOME

I will not get a legendary, they are ugly and the grind is to big. I use weapons like foefires essence(has the skin of the spirit greatsword).

I figured out a good way to do the entities, what’s the most forgiving thief build for lupi? cuz I’m not really got at lupi

sbow, caltrops (for cripple), malice, dagger storm, and heal on crit food is what i used and it wasn’t too hard. Other utilities are for preference (I personally prefer dodge signet and sr). You can also use the new trait that heals on crit. I tried again recently and without the trait, I was able to easily survive at 16 stacks of sun (until they all died). Bet you could get even higher with the trait.

maybe I should try dagger storm, I used it as a reflect for the turrets anyways, maybe it will help me again ^^. And I guess sword as weapon, cuz of cleave…

I need some advice on how to beat the Crystalline Entities, I just keep failing and failing @ them…

But I would also like to learn other dungeons, I’m a shout guardian(pugs usually lack conditions removers) I would also try to use my thief in dungeons but I don’t know good builds for it, I,m EU based.

We here at tchuu and friends want to thank you for that tip. We feel it has truly made us better players – and also better persons. Up until now we used to think of golems as disposable things we built to call the zerg, a bat signal of sorts, but you showed us the error of our ways. Again we thank you beloved asura thief! Never again will we abandon our golems to their fate while farming the crap out of your group.

Greetingzz my Gandarian friend, I hope you enjoyed your stay in our borderlands and of course also in the other borderlands, it’s very polite of you to thank me for pointing out your errors I hope next we take over your keeps we won’t find siege golems even though I enjoy destroying them it would be better for both of us that it stayed out of our reach I mean it is one whole CoF run, and you know how hard CoF can be I mean it’s not like you can do it in 6 min.

And to all the persons that were in our border this morning tyvm for the great fight. and to that tchuu guardian that crazed our commander out(all he wanted to do was to hunt down that tanky guardian) good job I enjoyed it very much.
