Guild Wars 2

I’m sending out a lot of dye to members of my guild that wants some. I keep getting my messaging disabled for long periods of time due to “excessive messaging”. I get the same on the trading post a lot when buying a lot or selling a lot.

Apparently these are meant to combat bots? Considering we have to buy Heart of Throns, shouldn’t that prove we’re not a bot? Can we have our limits increased?

Confessor’s Stronghold in Living World Season 3 is terribly bugged. I paid 200 Gems to unlock a gated story, only to experience bug after bug, after bug.

This left me with a very bitter taste in my mouth about Guild Wars 2. I loved everything, I even like the events in Heart of Thorns. These story zones I feel are terrible. They’re empty, too many monsters, they literally hit you for 100% of your health in one shot. The game hasn’t explained anything how to counter anything. After doing /wiki on Confessor’s Stronghold I found little out. But, on these forums someone actually explained it and stated the game doesn’t explain the mechanics.

So on Justicar Adrienne, I had a very bitter and nasty bug. So every time you defeat a White Mantle Scout or White Mantle Knight, it appears a new one respawns when they die. So I gave up defeating them and focused on Justicar Adrienne. The shield I got down rather easily because I understood how to counter that magic now. But, she still hits me for literally 100% of my health. I’m a melee mesmer, and apparently I made the worst freaken class choice I guess for my first character?

Now, during the fight I got attacked by the White Mantle Scouts and Knights constantly. They started respawning every second.

By the time I left there were over a hundred White Mantle Scouts and Knights. I was told they weren’t supposed to be respawning like that.

It took me over an hour to defeat Justicar Adrienne because I kept being hit and knocked down instantly with death.

There needs to be a way to prevent these bugs.

Hello! I’m trying to do some world completion. But, I keep running into event after event. Last 3 hours, I cleared over 40 events. Amazing exp, yes! But I want to focus on discovery of the map and hearts. I don’t want events showing on the tracker.

How can I hide events?

I’m really enjoying Gliding. I’m thinking of finishing that off, because I like it.

Hello everyone! I am currently at level 11 Mastery. I hit 80 not long ago for the first time. I have finished the following so far:

Gliding: Glider Basics, Updraft Use, and Lean Techniques.
Iztel Lore: Bouncing Mushrooms.
Exalted Lore: Exalted Markings
Nuhoch Lore: Nuhoch Hunting and Nuhoch Wallows

For Tyria I only have Pact Commander Pact Mentor and Productive Downtime.

Does anyone have any recommendations what is a useful mastery to work on next?

How do you all feel about these bundles like “Character Jump Start” or “Account Jump Start”?

Hello all! I am new to Guild Wars 2. I got 4,000 Gems with the purchase of my game. I don’t want to use my 80 boost either. I’m currently about level 11. What Gem items do you feel is worth grabbing for a new player?

Some Suggestions:

Interface Size – There is a new generation of resolutions, with 3000×2000 being the most common new resolution we will encounter now. The largest interface size in the options still looks like it’s made for ants. But, it’s bearable. However, the chatbox isn’t! The chatbox and the interface size need even larger scaling options, especially the chatbox.

Salma District – It is very, very, very, popular with RPers, even though they shouldn’t be in there. Why is it popular? The empty houses and taverns! RPers love it! I would suggest making it easier to access.
