Only one negative experience during the entire event. Using a Mac Laptop and whereas a two finger up or down swipe changed my view angle when not mounted just fine – it did not work when mounted. Had to do a locked finger and single finger swipe to make the same adjustment.
One request would be to allow a ‘dismount’ when falling. Whilst running about the bazaar, I’d find me and my mount falling and I’d would have liked to been able to deploy the glider to save my kitten .
Overall – I am quite looking forward to the new features. I am going to assume that the mounts will not be available elsewhere in the game, too bad. Thanks for the excellent work. A

I have had blue torch in hand four times now , as the ghostly “Princess of Melandru” walks up. She ignores me every time and bends over to cry. Then poof – she’s gone. At the cave entrance ( to the south ) I can see the tiny braziers to be lit, but even with the torch – there is no “signage” to interact with. I find no braziers at the bottom of the first tree, nor any tree inbound. The one time I saw that the gate was open , there was a ghostly Oakenheart and the torches were all lit. So … either I am missing a step, a precursor, membership in the right church ( ha ha ) . Anyone else been successful? My one time in, it was very worth hitting the Ancient Chest and the Magic’s.

New to the game – greatly enjoying it.
I am aware that when my toon travels into a lower zone, the system ‘downgrades’ me to a zone appropriate level. E.g. if I, as a level 40, enter a 1-15 zone, I get punted down to 14 or so.
The question is this: is everything I own or do also downgraded?
Are my weapons doing a proportionately less degree/value of damage?
Are my buffs … etc.

An Update to my earlier post. The systemwide crash, allows the kernel to restart, as well as the Finder. Only ‘outward’ sign is that my desktop image changes ( scheduled to change with each restart ). Additionally – after one of these types of crash, GW2 no longer will launch. I have to actually restart completely manually, then with a clean machine – all is well until next time. TIA Al

Good day all. Quite enjoying the game – thank you.
As this is a Beta version, I’m guessing someone wants to know about systemwide crash that occurs about 35% of the time when exiting the game.
This occurs about 50 to 60% of the time until I started exiting to character select frame, the logging out. Since I have begun that practice, I’ve reduced the rate of failure.
Attached is the Console crash reporter.
Not seen any real issues within the game itself, but I’ll keep looking.
