some ideas
Donjon : instead of choosing wich path we take, we ll get one randomly
Fractales : instead of having only one boss, we randomly get 1 outta 2, like in swamp, sometimes the tree, sometimes the hunter.
reward : crafting material, or skins, or recipe
. remove all "ready to use " items at npc, tokens will be used only to buy skins, or runes, or the " berserker , knight ..etc " stats .
General loot : Remove all ready to wear items, replace by materials, recyclable items .
Weapons s skills, add about 8 " general weapon " skills ( 4 melee 4 ranged ). that can be replaced in the weapon skills bar.
. those skills must be unlocked via hero points, and be put in the skill bar to totally unlock it by using the previous skill ( like in the very beginning in gw2 )
.wvw, put all maps into one . reduce the size of wvw map.
honestly, it s horrible to run 10 min from base to join the zerg…
might help repopulate the map ( artifically )
and also, give importance to capping stuff…. kinda pointless to just let other server cap, then re cap it minutes later… make it more important. more rewarding, more punishing.
too many waypôints are bad. only one wp in a map is just as bad. please. no matter what NO to mounts in gw2. unless mount for fun, totally for the skin no bonus movement at all. about wp, if u dont like it dont use. dont ask to have it removed cos u dont like it.

the idea of random hours was to make the living season more real
wasnt meant to be something anyone can participate on a schedule time
it s more oriented on who are lucky enough to participate in those changes
plus, it s something that will last long, there might be a chancer every people can face the event at least once.
and also, imagine , since u play at fixed schedule. the mobs attack the town between 3-6 pm PST and 9-0 am PST , while u r either at work or sleeping T_T
with the random, or let s say scheduled at a different time everyday
monday 3-6 pm tuesday 6-9 pm wednesday 5-8 pm and on and on, there is one day u ll be able to participate.

Anet, plz dont just make " 2 weeks event " where players have no impact at all on the game.
the 2 weeks event are nice, like, four winds festival, but must just be some kind of " rest " time, a party to enjoy.
please make, or just start a line of event where actions of players determine the fate of Tyria, this must not be timed by 2 weeks or whatever.
dont consider gw2 as a game and its players separately, but GW2 is a result of the world of Tyria and the actions of its residents. The players are what make the game.
let s say, Rata sum is attacked, from july 2.
Rata sum is attacked daily, at random hours, let s say 4 times per 24 h, not fixed hours pref, no one shd be able to get a timer or whatnot,
1- Rata Sum have guards who are able to repell the ennemies attack even without the help of players, BUT, the town will get smaller and smaller, and if Rata Sum is dominated, half the wp in the whole tyria will not be functionning
(instead of jsut giving rewards, give another kind of motivation : " the world is lost, need YOU now )
2- when some buildings are destroyed, players have 2 choices
a/ give mats to a certain npc, let s say 100 000 mats of each to rebuild one batiment.
b/if the crafting level is 300 and more, player can use the npc s mats to repair/rebuild/make heavy medium light armor/weapon for npc to fight next wave
the whole Rata Sum will be destroyed, after, hmm, let s say 2 weeks if no one participates, so as long as there are people participating, the event will still be running
then, Anet, when u think the event is running for too long, just give an annoucement " thanks to the efforts to all the braves defenders of Tyria, the bad guys are pushed back and Rata Sum is saved … for now "
well, in between, give one or two annoucements saying the ennemies are attackin even more fiercely, or we shall endure.
as a result of this event
a/if successful defenders, there will be npc in Rata Sum to whom players can give mats to create some monuments , note : PLAYERS decide if a monument will be constructed, DEVS : just make a npc that offers to build different kind of monuments depending on the mats donated. And, each defender gets a title and some shiny animation ( like the finishing blow in pvp) then there will be others events.
b/ if failed, Rata Sum is invaded, half the warps in Tyria are destroyed
so the next event will be, ( a continious one, depending on the players actions, not a " 2 weeks thing" again, in wich, no matter what the warps will be repaired , or rata sum reconquered or not ) give XXX mats to repair each portal, reconquer Rata Sum daily,
note : impossible to reconquer in one day with massive zergs , make it so, only XXX mobs come out of Rata sum 3-4 times a day, taht are killable, all the rest of the army is inside Rata Sum.
then invade other towns, or maps
devs gives cars, players drive .
wants to add , the special map is open to all levels, have quests and events there.

about the "living world "
would be nice to have something like wars between guilds mixed up with the vote thing, there was an event when we had to vote between a human and a charr, i forgot their names, mixed up with WvW. let me try to explain.
for an event, or from july 2 or whaterver,
1/ Everyplayer represent one side,out of 3 orders , doesnt have to be a guild decision or a guild vs guild ( to be fair with small guilds) , like WvW: 1v1v1.
2 A/each time a player did a daily completion, or monthly completion, the order they represent gain 1 point . The order who has more point have significant bonuses : bonus exp while gathering, killing, bonus karma, bonus crafting, cheaper price to get stuff from npc, free gifts from black lion…etc
2 B/each time one successfully accomplish a normal event, or a " order event " gains X point.
3/ the score will reset everyweek
4/there will be a map, where different players can fight agaisnt each other, like an open pvp. the thing that differs from the WvW, would be, the gathered, salvaged materials are neutrals, can be used to craft anything depending on ur crafting level( ex : neutral ore, neutral wood, neutral food). there will be strategic towns taht gives bonus points to the order u represent, the npc there give special price or something.
well, it s kinda like WvW, when one server occupy lands and stuff, but , this time, its not just on WvW, it s on the whole tyria map , each order will have to extend their influence , gather more people for the upcoming battle
would be nice to have a story telling why , vigil priory and whispers want to compete vs each other , at least for fun.

we all know gw2 is the first, or only one, or amongt the rare ones taht have living world, events that " suddenly " happens, something more than just doin the same quests for everyone
i wish in season 2, the dynamic event will have more impact, kinda like the attack of lion s arch, i loved those events back then : lion s arch is attacked, players go and defend as much as they could, but got overwhelmed, as a result, lion s arch is totally destroyed, and barely reconstructing now ( was lost when i got in, everything changed of places )
hope , in season 2, the impact will be , well, not that impactful, but , at least, when some random npc comes and ask for help, there is actually a BIG difference between players who DID help the npc and players who did NOT help : maybe access to some npcs? or unlock some super awesome skin ? or unlock a name?
also wish that, when someplace attacked and not defended in time got "erased " from the map and moved somewhere else, i call for a little " destroyed and reconstructed lion s arch "
or yea, polls in game too, but, err,
then i suggest, select polls from forum, and make it appear in game, or something like that

i mean
hmm, some people creates a topic, gives an idea, suggest X answers , and people click on one answer. After one chosed, in the first topic, we can see teh numbers of votes.
example.
Suggestion : More weapons skills
A : agree , but only for slots 3 and 5
B : agree, but only for left hand, or last 2 skills for a 2h weapon
C: disagree, too hard to manage
then if 100 people voted, 50 for A, 25 for B, 25 for C
we can see
A : 50 %
B : 25 %
C: 25 %
Each time some dude decideds to leave, they go full dramatic on us.

i assume the person saying this just cant understand, someone else feelings, and just being really selfish.
something might have no meaning, no importance at all to u, but means the world to other.
" it s just a game " is totally exactly like " it s jsut a dog " when ur childhood dog dies and u cry for months, then someone tells u that, u ll only feel the need to kill that person.
when u lost something important to u and, someone comes up and say the despicable sentence " its just a XXX " , u ll feel worse and worse.

when u answered that it s juvenile to laugh at someone who actually posts a " i quit the game becos XXX " , players who laugh at others, or who act like, " just quit the game and shut up " are what hurts teh company, player who post why they quit, are actually beneficial for a company…etc
