integrating weapon swaps would give me something new to do. I don’t really swap now, at all. Thank you for the replies! I will check out both your ideas.

LDB sPVP build - I'm using it and it's so boring help

I wanted to do something other than going for a big backstab single hit then just autoattacking from behind, so I went for a bleed damage D/D setup. I’m doing pretty good considering I’ve only done a few dozen games. I’m usually top 3 on my team points wise and this build does great in large crowds. However, it’s just not fun. Does anyone else play this? It feels powerful because you can drop plenty of bleeds very quickly, and at the same time the ability makes you evade and you flop around like a crazy monkey (even more so than heart seeker). It’s just boring, that’s all. LDB LDB LDB steal, LBD, stealth or heal, more LBD, dodge away and stealth.

Is there a more fun way to play a thief in sPvP?

No problem.

I’d like to elaborate on the PvE aspect. You can totally do daggers in PvE, but the advantage with short bow is it has much better AoE so you can attack multiple mobs at once, and it’s ranged obviously so you can kite and stay out of melee range. If you do want to do daggers in PvE I would suggest doing a bleed build while you’re leveling so you can drop your damage then use your endurance to dodge away while the bleeds tick. Also since Leaping Death Blossom hits 3 targets you can use it as an AoE attack. I would avoid going with a melee build that didn’t use bleeds. too much down time while leveling since you take the most damage in melee range.

Whether you take Daggers or Short Bow, I would still use Sword/Pistol as your second set because that Black Powder ability drops a small Smoke combo field that AoE blinds enemies in the field. You can tank pretty hard with that while doing damage at the same time. Some folks even drop the Black Powder then switch to bow and fire into the combo field, which will do damage and blind with every shot.

That’s quite a question. The quick and dirty answer, in my opinion is:

PvE: Use a Sword/Pistol and Short Bow. Short bow for all your questing and stuff, and switch to sword/pistol when you want to kill an elite ( you can use the 5 skill to get almost 100% blind uptime on a mob). I tank heavy hitters all day.

PvP: Dual daggers. Then you can either focus on power/crit with heartseeker/backstab people to death. Or you can go with +bleed damage and duration, spam Leaping Death Blossom then take some skills to help you get away quick after dropping 5LBDs.

Google for the actual trait layouts for those, plenty of them already posted.

Where do I go to report these bot accounts? They are painfully obvious, even when I’m just running around doing heart tasks.

One of my runes says I have 4/2 equipped and it’s red. I’m assuming this means 2 of those minor runes are giving me absolutely no benefit. Is that right? If a rune says 2/2 then should I only ever equip two of that rune? For example, Minor Rune of The Necromancer.

Thanks!
