Guild Wars 2

I’m having trouble with my game. It started today.

1. I launch gw2.exe
2. the loading screen comes up, sometimes with black bars at the top and bottom of the image.
3. the launcher checks for updates and informs me that GW2 is at its lowest price yet.
4. the auto login counts down.
5. my window for GW2 is just a black screen that like the goggles, does nothing. when I try to click it to the front, it doesn’t respond. when I click the tile in the bottom bar of windows, then it will add (Not Responding.)
6. I have left it alone for about five minutes, nothing changes.

i followed the repair instructions found at https://eu.support.guildwars2.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/8981/kw/repair%20client%20windows

it didn’t seem to do anything, as steps 1 through 6 continue to happen.

so now what?

The trouble is that I want four skins. I’ll happily pay for them, but if I wanted a boring farming grind I’d just play wow. I don’t want fireworks, candy or food, I don’t care about the wings, I just want the weapon skins, and I can’t see why I can’t just buy them. I don’t like gambling and I don’t like grinding. I’ve already decided I won’t get a legendary weapon because I don’t like RNG. if it drops into my lap, fine, but i’m not going out of my way to get one because gambling sucks and again, if I wanted to bore myself to tears grinding an RNG box withh RNG items inside I’d go play panda superfriends boring time.

I’m leveling a sylvari mesmer. I have a mix and match set on her right now:

I had that outfit planned for multiple levels. I have her 80 outfit planned too – I just need to find people who will take a noob to TA Exp/AC Exp. i hear it’s difficult. I’ve been in TA Exp on my guardian once, and it wasn’t so bad…

Oh and the gold farming to get the rest, but I am so looking forward to my mix and match 80 outfit.
