bumping this for DR! as someone who used to be on a dead server, it’s rough and you always feel like you’re getting your kitten handed to you no matter how hard you try. DR is definitely worth giving a shot for tier 7/8

this is my ele (i have two sylvari but she’s my second character ever so she’s super special) and she’s not in typical leafy sylvari fashion (she’s got HotW armor goin’ on) but i love this shot because her glow came through perfectly, i think!

CoSA never disbanded. The rumor started with a minor offhand joke comment from a non-CoSA SF player. SFers found it pretty amusing that so many players from other servers rejoiced at the “news” of CoSA’s “demise.” So all of SF, CoSA and non-CoSA alike, played along to see how long it’d last.

That was quite awhile ago. Thought everyone had already figured it out.

I don’t think any DH guild leader condones this; but, it remains pointless to post this stuff. Take the issue up with the guild itself. DH as a whole cannot control every action of every player. I’m sure no one on your server ever attempts to use this tactic xD. Leave this stuff out of this forum and go enjoy the game.

This situation has become so ridiculous that Skosh is taunting someone about how bad they are while that person is like “Yep, we’re bad and that’s okay”.

Edit: I dunno why any of the people here think they have anything to prove. ASH is an old guild and they know who they are, they got nothin to prove. DI knows how well they do so I dunno why they think they gotta show somethin with a GvG. GvGs shouldn’t be about vendettas or personal attacks or kitten measuring contests. They should be about the pursuit of excellence and competition and that’s not gonna happen with a guild that doesn’t care about GvG or as a whole isn’t dedicated to WvW either.

for the final time, in all seriousness, considering you feel the need to repetitively tell us you won’t win, we really don’t care if you win or not or if we win or not. the point was honestly to do a GvG. that’s it. like you’re the only one who’s making this about winning. we just wanted to GvG. especially since ASH is a fairly common big guild we’ve gone up against in wvw, we look for bigger or more well known guilds to do such things with.

can’t speak for my leader, but i can speak for myself when i say we get a little rustled when we get asked where the fights are and when we offer up a lil’ ol’ gvg against ASH just to have fun, we get turned down but still get asked where the fights with us are

like we’re not gonna duke it out with you over a tower that gets taken every two minutes. keeps maybe, but not that dumb redlake/bluebriar/whatever.

as for costume brawls, i will take you on with my plush griffin tonic any day, my good man

Don’t look like fun to me when insults are being thrown around but then ET and DR seem to have an inbred hatred of GoM, Especially DR its really sad how many laugh emotes you see from DR when they zerg small groups.

i don’t hate any server. that would be grouping you as a whole and that’s terrible and waste of my time and an insult to you as an individual.

what i hate is when i see all these attitudes on forums over WvW. i haven’t attacked GoM as a server or even DR as a server. to be honest, DR has one of my fave guild names. so far in the past two days the only thing i’ve said to GoM at all was responding to ASH asking for fights but not wanting to do GvG which has just turned into teasing now and nothing more.

at the end of the day, i’m playing a game with some of my very good friends on here and we’re just trying to kick some kitten . but then i come on here and it stops being fun and it starts being hostile for no real reason.

that’s what i hate.

SMC flip more constantly where the servers have more coverage than down here where most servers have huge coverage gaps. Basically for us lower tiers, if you hold SMC through the prime time, you won it (unless one of the enemy servers have a night crew you do not, but that problably will cost you more than just SMC) since things will be quiet for long hours where the castle is likely to get supplies and upgrade without any danger… Many times I went to sleep with an enemy paper castle, to wake up with a Iron Wall and WP in the middle of EB.

Sorry for all those guilds I didn’t mention. As a former LORD I know they have organized groups (but are a PVX guild, not full time WvW) this is why I stated StaR as an example. All the other guilds out there (CoSA, ICE, LH, ect) bring some great things to this server, and we are who we are because of the great guilds we do have here in SF. There is nothing we can do about our numbers, so the complaints about them aren’t going to change anything.

However, what could change for ET and other servers is working together. I see A LOT of ET out there running solo, not very organized. You see a group coming to push through you in battle, you scatter. You hide behind your siege and you don’t stick together as one unit. This is a big problem with ANY server. Your commander runs one way, you all run the other? How do you expect to gain any ground (with little numbers or less numbers) if even from the outside it’s noticed that you can’t seem to work together as a unified team?

I swear, if anyone from ET actually argues against this post, I’ll flip my kitten. This is the first decent piece of constructive criticism we’ve had in a long time.

Thank you. I wasn’t trying to be an kitten . I’ve seen what you guys can produce in numbers. You REALLY aren’t that low in numbers (yes, probably a lot less than us at times – but you do have a fair amount of people – we’ve seen resets against you guys). It seems like people get discouraged easily, or want to to their own thing. Maybe you have a lot of fairweather players. Who knows what the reasoning is, but it’s just sad to see your commanders going one way and other players going the other. Guess who dies first in this situation, the commander, then who is there to lead? Not all those who are running around like a chicken with their heads cut off.

Again, we’ve had some good fights this week, with or without your siege, it’s been fun.

No, don’t worry, I could see that. I genuinely appreciate everything you said but I just had to say that because I don’t want to see forum warriors jumping down your throat for giving criticism. There’s a difference between being constructive and “lol you all suck”.
