i think changing this would be a really bad thing for the game. pre launch there was not much reason to group up outside of very specific cirucmstances. with the new areas there are both the events and meta events requiring cooperation on a large scale and hero points requiring cooperation on a small scale. the event hero points give rewards even if youve already done them so people wont be discouraged from helping out, plus everyone will need them to unlock their elite spec
What are we suppose to do if there’s no one around? What about a couple months from now?
I think this game is great in many ways but the level progression through specializations is a bad idea. Having champ hero points dramatically slows the pacing in this game. Don’t get me wrong I loved going to arah exp during launch and getting killed over and over again. However I never felt forced into the challenge. In the new expansion I feel more frustrated trying to solo content. I also worry about how new players are suppose to go through the content after the vast majority done.
If I was a gw2 developer I would go with a polearm/ spear as the new weapon set. Its the weapon set that would perfectly fit both pve and pvp.
I think it should be a weapon worth while for people to come back to warrior. That said I’m pretty sure they will use a land version of the spear. In one of the cut scenes you see Faolain spearing a soldier.
LOL its nothing new. Anet always nerf thieves first. Its almost to the case where having more than one thief in a tpvp match is a bad idea.
Just remove skyhammer from solo que. Any cheesy mesmer or engi that misses it just hotjoin a custom server.
Since honor deals with symbols how about
Cast time for hammer’s symbol of protection reduced. I always felt like the guardians hammer abilities were too slow. This way a guardian can constantly apply protection for more survivability.
