Yup, been crashing a lot since the last update – didn’t happen before. Game just closes, then the send report window, as others have said.

This happens randomly, in all different types of areas. Weirdly, I don’t think it’s ever happened when I’ve been doing big group stuff (like WvW, big world bosses, etc)…it tends to be when I’m on my own piddling about doing stuff in what seem to be pretty empty areas.

A fascination with ‘celebrities’ has been a feature of a lot of human culture for hundreds of years, even before Lord Byron, so it’s not like it’s a new phenomenon. I think it has something to do with the silliness of life that keeps us distracted from the inevitable suffering and death to come.

I’d deal with it and still play if it happened – but I have to admit I don’t like underground areas/caves, mainly because I tend to get totally lost and just end up wondering round in circles (maybe if there was a real distinction in visual style over the areas this would be less of a problem though).

I also tend to like kiting, or at least end up doing it a lot, and that’s a pita in closed in areas.

Deffo agree with this; I’d even be happy with, as someone suggested, the game detecting when a skill is aimed out of range (or when the ground has a slight bump in it, preventing the skill working – hello Illusionary Leap), and the cooldown isn’t blown.

That’s the most annoying thing for me, thinking the skill will work, it almost randomly doesn’t, but the cooldown is there as if it had. Even if being able to judge when a skill is out of range can be put down to player fault (although I’d disagree with that), skills like Illusionary Leap are just plain bugged, as it’s nigh on impossible to gauge when it will or won’t work.

Just detecting that the skill won’t work and stopping the cooldown from activating would make me happier at least.

I’ve wondered this as well – from what I understand, not normally, no…however, a part of Underworld is available during the Halloween event.

I think this is right, but someone can correct me if wrong.

Huh, didn’t even know this was the case. Whenever I’ve seen the US flag, I indeed assumed it meant the group wanted US players (yeah, even though I’m on an EU server…as I never really thought about it deeply). As an English player, I automatically wouldn’t have applied to join a group with the US flag next to it for that reason.

As someone said, the clue is in the name of the language…

I’ve just started working on map completion on my main character, and I wondered which vista people found the hardest to get? Either due to to not knowing how to get to it, or the difficulty involved in jumping, etc.

I haven’t had any huge problems yet (although I have youtubed a couple of times…), but, as I’ve only done a few zones so far, I have a feeling that might change…

Just wondered if anyone else gets annoyed at the flesh golem despawning every time you go in the water (not to fight, just swimming across the surface to get to the other side). I know it’s not the end of the world, but still, always feels like something that shouldn’t happen…(or am I doing something wrong?)

Might still just be a troll, but I know first hand what can happen if you let slip in a game that you’re female…he’s far from the only man/boy sending whispers like that. However, that doesn’t mean the behaviour should be accepted of course.

Have seen this guy a few times on Piken Square…have to admit, I didn’t think too much of it; am so used to random or vaguely offensive trolling in game chat :p
