Sooner than you might think, but not nearly as soon as we would like. That’s as much as I can say.
Seems to me that’s the kind of info you would put in a “6 month plan” blog post…
Maybe he’d like to …
I don’t know why a Moa would have an axe or a helmet, but they do sometimes.
Well, when the wolves have swords, the birds need the extra defense.
So basically…
Our server never runs from a fight, we are valorous manly men! Your server never stays to fight, you are feeble girly men! We always have quality, where you only ever have quantity. We are better than you all in every way, and it is futile to argue otherwise. Yay us!
And now there’s no need for any of the match-up threads. ANet can just leave this as the MOTD for this forum and we’re done.
So I think most of the people who go onto EB are looking to win, and they don’t really care about the points. They are just looking for good fights that they know they can win.
Personally, I’ll take a lost battle and a won war anytime. I will repeatedly wipe if I can keep an opponent occupied while my team takes a more important objective.
While most of you probably thought, dang they got 60 in every map! It was just us moving maps in a stressful manner, we were the 60 person reactionary force while 10 people per map (20-30 or so in EB) kept things secure and called us as needed
Thanks for the insight. You should also take credit for seiging the kitten out of anything you intend to hold. It’s real hard to make progress against equal numbers and massed AC’s
I agree in large group tactics and believe in organized wvw. Glad to know BP does it too. Ive seen some of it, but what depth of coordination you guys do beyond a veil I’m not too clear.
From my experience on our BL, they seem to be very clear on their objectives – it’s very clear when they intend to hold a tower or keep, and they’re very good at getting back to defend. This speaks to a decent level of coordination at the macro level at least.
I’ve been asking myself the same question. I’m also in North America, so I’m usually active from 01:00 – 06:00 GMT, and there can be some stretches in there where we’re pretty thin.
The Polish chat mostly bugs me in the sense of not knowing quite what I’m missing. Only rarely have I gotten the impression that it was anything important (“Oh, he wants an arrow cart built…somewhere…”) The bigger issue is the overall lack of communication – I rarely see reports of enemy movements, and there are times when I know there are a dozen of us in a map but no indication of where anyone is or where they’re going. I’ll ask and be given a location, then when I get there – nothing (if not an enemy zerg).
