My opinion is that in current state Engineer as a class is completely uselles and not fun to play, too many abilites and traits that do nothing. We lack focus and direction on what are we supposed to do.
I propose that anet gives us the option to create another class of our choice that is level 80 instead of our engineer that will be deleted as a compensation.
I don’t see how the forums would blow since players have tendency to take the easy way out, close the client and go for a walk or watch TV, maybe even have some dinner
Joke aside, if there is any diagnostic utility or gw2 client command we can use, apart form contacting ncsoft tech support, to provide more information about this issue please tell us.
@Ashley
Although I appreciate you answer, you have to be honest about this problem.
We are players from all over the world, different countries and cities,
but still we have the exact same problem, which is that your (ncsoft) server is disconnecting us from the game for unknown reason.
I also have to mention that Guild Wars 2 is the only game that exhibits this problem. Other software that I use functions properly, without any disconnects.
This can happen 5 times in 5 minutes or days can pass without disconnect.
All we ask is that you look at your servers and try to figure out what is happening,
just don’t try to blame it on us or our ISP, since we did everything on our side that was suggested in regard to this problem.
Best regards
Obviously a lot of players have this problem, but anet just decided to ignore it.
I bet they are thinking, if we keep quiet it will go away by itself and no one will notice it
Good thing is that we don’t have to pay monthly fee to play this game, since that is how much it is worth.
I have exactly the same problem as Noly.6548.
It all started with Lost Shores update, and since then I get frequent disconnects.
My internet connection also slows down at that time (its non existent, to say better), but as soon as I close Guild Wars 2 everything is back to normal.
