I have finished Master Carver title on halloween
and currently have the title.
After the Flame and Frost prelude update,
pumping carving achievement has reset and achievement point lost.
However I still carry Master Carver title.
There are about 5~10 people in the low level maps at all time approximately in my server,
and I assume that’s the same case for other servers.
What I propose is to combine the servers for low-level maps
so it gathers all the people from different servers
put them all in the same server, at least at the non-peak time.
Can you make this bag account-bound instead of character-bound?
I want this give this to my alt character,
it’s stuck with the character who has the most inventory slots.
UNDERWEARS!
I want to dye my underwears RED OR BLACK!
I’m thinking of making a set of defensive exotic armors,
so that I can use both my offensive and defensive armor set.
But making another set of armor is costly,
so…I got to thinking,
‘is it possible to just overwrite desirable insignia on the already existing crafted armor?’
I wonder if such mystic forge recipe exists.
Or if not, if such thing could be implemented in the future.
I was frustrated and did not see how it would actually encourage players to do exploits.
I apologize and you’re absolutely right.
I found the email address where you specifically report exploits,
I will use that now.
In the meantime, I hope this topic gets erased.
EDITED: Proper report has been filed at exploits@arena.net

Just trying to eliminate every possibility here.
Have you tried talking to a scout?
If you see a scout mark on the world map,
go talk to him.
Scout mark on the world map disappears when you discover hearts.
Add 'exploiting' 'gold selling' in the Report function...

Title says it all.
For exploiting and selling gold, I always go for scamming.
That’s…not entirely right.
So, add exploiting and gold selling option in the Report function.
I finished my monthly achievement few days ago,
and now my monthly progress has been reset.
Why did it reset?
September isn’t over yet.
I exchanged gold for 800 gems but I’m sure I only bought 1 slot.
I submitted a bug report right after, but haven’t heard from them.
If they do anything stupid, I’m gonna take extreme measures to fight this
but until then, I’m not using the extra slot.
I bought an extra character slot a while ago because 5 wasn’t enough.
For some reason, I got 2 slots.
So I have total 7 character slots instead of 6.
Is this normal?
Is ArenaNet giving extra character slot?
or is the description wrong?
Because it says it will ‘add an additional character slot’.
Now I’m afraid to use the 7th slot because I don’t know if it’s bugged or not.
You do realize that I wrote “Reward, in general not just the dungeon reward, is a different issue. That’s messed up.”
I also wrote a lengthy suggestion about how ANet should improve rewards.
Perhaps I wasn’t so clear on “Your fix on 2nd path was putting a bandaid on a structurally unstable building.”
What I mean is…
Before doing a quick fix which doesn’t solve anything, try come up with a real effective solution like improved reward/more content/balanced difficulty among 3 paths/etc.
Also…
this is about asking ANet about fixing the darn exploiting issue.
(edited by cainschwartz.7986)
over 95% of people running CoF still go for Magg path.
Now, people found an exploit where you can easily go past the bombing part and even get extra tokens.
The worst part is if you don’t do the jump exploit, you get kicked out from the party.
I’m one of those people who find the new nerfed 2nd path challenging and actually not bad at all. Even with the fix, 2nd path is the easiest path. People whine about how the new fix is overnerfed or it is now impossible to do; they complain because they can’t do easy, quick token farm.
(Reward, in general not just the dungeon reward, is a different issue. That’s messed up.)
Now I’m trying to organize a dedicated group to do 1st path or 3rd path,
most wouldn’t join because they wouldn’t want to waste their time doing hard stuff,
or just leave after few failures and not talking/formulating any strategy.
I know it’s not supposed to be puggable and it needs coordination and experienced players, but have to start somewhere right???
Your fix on 2nd path was putting a bandaid on a structurally unstable building.

Better rewards for DEs, Dungeons, Chests, and from low-level area

We’re not complaining about the difficulty.
It’s about being rewarded for our hard work.
I enjoy the game. I love this game.
But you failed to reward players for their love and dedication for this game and it seems you don’t see the problem and only treat the symptom. (It’s like we’re getting paid below minimum wage)
This is what I propose.
For the waypoint cost, if you’re traveling within the same zone, reduce the amount by 50%. Let us travel with reasonable amount of money so we can help other players in need of extra hands.
Reduce the repair cost by 30~40%. We should dodge and be smart about our surrounding and not die all the time, but it happens. Especially in the dungeons. When our armors break and if we worry about expensive armor cost, we cannot even dream of going through the whole thing. People give up. There are slightly better things to do then stuck in an impossible loop (fixing armor -> die -> armor broken -> fixing armor -> die again)
50%~100% increase in Dynamic event reward overall. Scale the amount of karma and money you get from Dynamic events when you go to the lower level area (for example, *200% increase if you go to starter area. It will compensate for not getting any good drops.)
Give us a better chance to get level-appropriate items from chests at the end of jumping puzzle.
For the explorable dungeon, bring Easy, Medium, Hard level path.
Easy being previous Citadel of Flames 150 seconds Magg route, Hard being Giganticus Lupicus equivalent boss or even tougher.
10 silver and 20 tokens for beating Easy mode each time.
1 gold and 100 tokens for beating Medium mode each time.
4 gold and 300 tokens for Hard mode each time and a chance to get an exotic item or equivalent stuff.
I’m not saying you should give us 10 gold for each time we kill a dragon,
or to get dungeon armor set by running the explorable dungeon once or twice.
We want to work for it.
Let us work for it.
We can’t all be smart and super good at doing what you’ve intended us to do. If we’re dumb and not good at anything, at least let us work our butt off for it.
Don’t penalise us for grinding.
We’re not exploiting anything.
We want to have fun. Just like what you’ve always wanted us to.

For a game which doesn’t want players to feel like they’re grinding all the time,
you guys are sending us a mixed signal.
Once we, as in players, reach lvl 80, we feel like we’re inadequate to do anything in this game.
What’s the point of keep doing Dynamic Events? We’re not getting enough karma or money. 300~400 karma and 1~2 silver per DE? We spend all these money on overpriced waypoints and repair cost.
Tier 2 cultural armor costs about 12 gold, and Tier 3 cultural armor costs about 120 gold. For casual players, getting cultural armor is an unattainable goal.
Tier 3 cultural weapons? 68k karma each. One-hand AND Two-hand weapons. (Stats suck too. It’s not what you want. For mediocre~somewhat fancy skins, they are incredibly expensive.)
Exotic karma armor? 230k Karma total.
So we have to GRIND.
You don’t want us to? If we enjoy the content and do DEs, we’ll eventually get enough Karma and gold saved up for these fancy items?
I’m sorry, unless you can give us a fresh content every week or so, doing the same events over and over is nothing but a grind.
Go to the lower level zone and help the other players? I do admit, you get the approximately the same amount of karma and gold but then again we don’t get any level-appropriate items we want. They are incredibly scarce.
Jumping puzzles? If I go to 1~15 zone and help out a friend, what do I get from the chest? Low level blue items.
So…is there any incentive to go to the low-level area? It’d be better to raise a new character, don’t you think?
But then…what’s the point of taking care of our main characters that we love?
Crafting? Sure.
If we level up our crafting discipline, we can craft good stuff.
But…don’t we need materials for it?
If we can’t find enough materials to level up, we need to use trading post.
I spent about 7 golds trying to raise my tailoring from 110 to 170.
I’m so excited about how much more I have to spend in order to max my crafting.
When you go to lvl 80, given that you’ve already finished Dungeon storymodes, hard and challenging explorable modes await you.
If you do one path for the first time of the day, you get 30 tokens and subsequently 20 tokens.
How much for full set?
1300 tokens, and approximately 300 tokens (+/- 30 or so) for weapons.
Oh, that’s right. If we want dungeon gear, we lose money because we die and need to repair our armors.
Some of them are hard. You seriously need some dedication and coordination to pull it off. I was only successful twice in comleting the explorable mode. Once I came close but you had a new build and I had to quit
I’m not complaining about the challenge. They are hard but when I finish it, I do get some satisfaction of completing a hard task. However, if we want to get something out of these dungeons, we need to grind.
You don’t want to make us feel these dungeons are grindy and don’t want us to easily get exotic armor/weapon dungeon set but wait, I forgot. We need to grind tokens.
