Keep up the amazing work. The graphics and game are stunning. Sometimes I log in just to look around. So very well done and I know it will keep getting better. Thank you for listening to us and I hope the devs know that while we all have our suggestions, we wouldn’t have the game if we didn’t want to be in the world you all created. It rocks.

Thaaaat said… since there is a suggestions forum, here are mine (some are actual suggestions, others are “wish we had’s”.)

Have guild message of the day load in the chat window when guildees log on if the message has been changed since the last time they were on.
-When changing the message, it should allow you to edit without automatically deleting the previous message. We leave our vent info in there for easy access and it’s a pain to input that back everytime.
-Be able to send guild wide mail.
-A chat channel for guild officers
-add a secondary guild chat for other use: example: One for people to RP in.
-Guild Kick needs to have a confirmation box.
-Allow Guild Emblems on all armor once you have the upgrade.

Visually: If merchants have carts that were obviously pulled there, have the animals tethered near by. Very wierd to see merchants in the middle of no where with huge carts yet no critters.

Mounts: Mounts perhaps when you hit level 80 with 100% completion. This would encourage a lot of people to not just “waypoint” everywhere. If I had a horse for example, it would be still fun to re-explore an area I’ve already been in before. Right now most of my friends go waypoint to waypoint and I can’t keep up, I LIKE to run through the areas.

Town Clothes: Have merchants called Tailors in cities that sell them. Have a toggle switch where we can mark to stay in town clothes even if we take damage unless we have left a main city.

Please do NOT add an inspection ability: If someone wants to know what gear another player is wearing they can ask. It adds social abilities and takes away people not grouping based on what they think of your gear.

Let us change chat color options. People are all different and different colors catch our eyes. Yellow does not work for me so guild chat is hard on me sometimes. Really need this to be customizable.

Previewing items on the trading post would be so very nice. ** Just found out this is in the works. You guys rock!

First person view for fighting in caves, et all.

**This may be a bug: Some NPC’s in other racial areas refer to me as though I’m their race or have done things only that race can do. For example a norn NPC talked to me about how great I did in the Great Hunt, which my human was very confused over. This should be tweaked. NPC’s should know what race/species we are playing.

This one is more a wish: Have three choices for each race on their “idle motions”. Not that mine is that bad but some people feel their char’s idle fidgeting style doesn’t suit them so it would be cool if we could pick between a few and set it. (Stretching or polishing weapon or reviewing a map in our hands) something like that.

There is a heart that requires you to fight locked up animals to complete it. Many hearts give you different options on how to finish it, this one could really use that. Feed them, run errands, or something. I’m not saying take it out, but give other completion options.

Trading Post: Allow better search filters. For example only seeing items your class can equip, etc…

COD mail.

Dyeable underwear and or the ability to buy different ones.

Mini pets: Can they stay with us even after zoning?

Custom moves/emotes/etc… that we earn or buy would be pretty cool. Idle emotes especially. So tired of her doing the same stretch 20 times while I read this forum.

This could be really great if done right. ANet could only submit things for worldwide voting that they would be willing and able to implement if people wanted it.

Some do. Look in the bottom corner of your map, there is a layered icon. Click the different layers or use your mouse-wheel.

This has potential. Perhaps offering different rewards if one goes back. Or only allow part of the hearts to be redone. IE: If you did something that story wise only makes sense to do once but they also had you water their plants, then still let you water the plants for a bit of karma or some such.

Things that encourage people to retread already traveled areas works for me.

Sometimes I still feed the cows on my way by just because…

It would be neat if they did a few things or you could interact with them. Some would say be a ranger then but I tried that and don’t really want a fighting pet.

It amuses me I found this thread while exploring that area for the first time. Shortly before reading this I told my group," Well, that escalated quickly." From summer sunshine to going sledding. Alrighty then. Quickly changes from revealing armor to overcoat. There we go.

Your suggestion sounds good to me but not sure how much they would be able to apply it at this point.

Regardless, just thought I’d post to say I noticed it as well.

If that’s true and not a one time type bug, that will hopefully be redone. Have yet to do a dungeon but hope they change that.

This would be nice. My char’s only have first names and now I wish they had last names or how some people did __________ of the _______ , or _________ the _______.

The more I play the more I get a feel for the lore, the more I wish this was an option.

I agree. The way it pops up saying there is a strong current keeping us from swimming to far out is a great example of explaining areas we can’t get to. More of that. Make a hill a cliff, add walls, etc… This also saves on wasting time. Sometimes I am just SO sure I can go there or there must be a way up…
