I’ve been away for a while and just recently started playing again, and feel like I need a mix up with my mesmer. I’ve always played either power PU Gs s/t/p or condi PU staff S/T. I’m wondering if anyone could help me with any more ideas, I generally focus on roaming / some small scale zergs. I’ve read a lot about lock down builds but they all seem to focus on PvP and I’m wondering are hey effective in wvw? Also would love to use staff in a build with mobility as that’s what always stopped me with my condi build
Any help would be appreciated

Life saver, and I love removing peoples targets on me.

Built in dodge, works well with chaos storm for armour. I love to be to constantly be moving and annoying the enemy.

1. Arcane thievery
No doubt about this, all time favourite skill. What is this I see? 20 stacks of might and protection? Should be a shame if someone stole it… Once again a skill that trolls, I always run it.

Is this still viable? Or has it been updated?

So I have one character slot left and it’s between Warrior and necro! As of now I am leaning towards Warrior and was just wondering if the warrior community could answer a few questions!
1. What are warriors like for wvw roaming?
2. Is there a lot of build diversity?
3. How do you preform in s/t pvp?

So ele was my first 80, but I soon moved away and now main mesmer! I love wvw roaming either by myself or as a small group and have recently grown a bit bored of the slow speeds of my mesmer! I have roamed with a theif for a while, but really want something new, that I can learn. So I thought I would see if my ele could be any use to fill this role.

So what I’m asking is:
1. Is D/D ele viable for wvw roaming,
2. What sort of builds are available,
3. Could someone link me a viable build,
4. And does anyone have any useful tips.

I have had GW2 for over 4-5 months now, always been able to run it with a steady 30-40 FPs at max settings. However, for some reason my FPs has dropped to 8-10 and even if i put the settings to the lowest possible I can only get 15. This happens constantly and has persisted for a few days now. I have re installed drivers, but don’t really know what could have caused this or what I can do?

What utilities do you use?

So I’m looking for a build for S/D theif, mainly for wvw roaming. I have been running p/d condi build since I hit 80 and really want to try power. Don’t have much experience with power builds so any build help would be useful! Thanks

Have been looking for a d/d theif build for some time now, any that are feasible at the moment would be greatly appreciated! New to theif so any other advice would also be accepted thanks

I have been using your hidden cat build, really enjoying it! I have 2 questions- how do ideal with sigil warriors?
And you mentioned above that the hidden cat build has the best sustained damage? While playing should I be keeping illusions/ clones alive or shattering?

So have had a thief level 80 for a while- but still have no clue what build to go for? At the moment I am really enjoying s/d and would like a good build for that- mainly wvw but also pve. If the s/d isn’t really viable I am open to other option! Any help would be appreciated- mainly good wvw builds at the moment
