then just quit life now.
you make it sound like it’s easy, just flip a switch and no big deal!
you know what, maybe that’s a good thing. i get the impression that this game is made for the super casual MMO crowd, maybe even people who don’t like MMOs because the grind/farm mechanic is such a time sink. noone can really get ahead in this game because the gear isn’t like WoW, farming is stupid (honestly, it’s such a waste of time) and if they have anti-farming scripts in place then i should accept it and keep playing the game they’ve laid out.
love how that post killed this topic, it’s what’s killing the game for me.
xp isn’t that great, you’ll either need to farm for items or buy stuff from the trading post. i’m getting the impression it’s more efficient to grind endgame events for money than get a pittance while you’re leveling.
aside from that, what the heck is with this crafting system anyway? grind for karma to buy recipes or throw things together on your own and hope you get a skill up. getting the impression that this is nothing more than a korean grindfest with a western brandname.
i can see the incentive for anti-farm caps anyway. this game doesn’t have subs but it does have a cash shop. if stuff is hard to get in-game, buy gems with real $$$ and convert to gold. enough people will sink enough time into this game that they’ll know they’re being screwed but they won’t want to quit and don’t like being walled. that’s who’s going to foot the server bills.
i’d rather pay $5 – $10 a month for a well-crafted experience than a one time fee of $60 and be toyed with the entire time. are mmos even games or are they purely parasitic?
i’m trying to get weak blood to level weaponsmithing. i was farming trolls for an hour and got ten, it’s been another hour and i’ve only received one.
i have 5 skill slots, if i give up one slot for a stun breaker i lose something else that’s good (ie. damage reduction).
i don’t feel very empowered.
i tend to get immobilzed/stunned/knocked down while trying to keep mobile, i have no idea how you guys are managing. it sounds like we’re playing different games.
it plays way too clunky for anyone to honestly argue that encounters are intelligently designed.
sounds like trial and error stupidity, and group events sort of reinforce the idea that people are meant to die so someone else can pick them up.
my guy moves incredibly slow when the dodge is out, if i try to run to range and wait i die.
story quests seem to be designed for players to die a few times and get a repair bill. however minor, it isn’t fun. am i doing something wrong? I roll whenever i can and heal ASAP but when i’m out of CDs, just a few hits and i’m dead.
if level scaling weren’t in effect i could just grind another level or two (or be my actual level) and this wouldn’t even be an issue.
Location: Caer Verdant (Caledon Forest)
Brugh is standing in Caer Verdant and his dialogue acts is if he’s on the move and needs defending (Stay on your guard. The undead may attack at any time.), but he’s been in the same spot for the past couple days. Because of this, the Morgan’s Spiral Jumping Puzzle can no longer be accessed.
bump. if it’s a dynamic event does anyone know which one? a few on my server are bugged and i’m guessing won’t be fixed until reset (ie. the guy you defend while he fights undead in a cave is stuck in a tree)
yeah it’s still dead, anyone have more detail on this? I don’t want to have to keep checking in on this.
i was climbing it earlier but fell down and figured i’d get it done later. now i’ve gone back and the leaves that would lead to the floating rocks are dead.
