D/D PvE Dungeon Build (Need help)

Hi, me and my friends are all thinking of getting back into the game and rolling new characters. I’ve always been the healer of the group and I know the trinity doesn’t exist in GW2 but I’d still love to play support or to support in some way. I figured the Elementalist would be my best choice!

Hours of planning and searching for guides and… nothing I know I want to use D/D or staff but apart from that I have know idea what to do. I’ve only played a Warrior and Necromancer before so the Elementalist is all new to me.

Do I even need healing power if I’m to heal my group? Is using 30 in water worth it? I’ve looked through loads of different build that all have their own opinion so I decided the forum might be able to help.

Any advice, I mean anything would be appreciated!

Thanks, the staff with a bit of toughness is definitely in the build. I may run a conditionmancer because of its PvE capabilities but it’s also good in WvWvW too and the staff to reinforce both the dungeons and PvP.

Thanks

I love my Necromancer and after rerolling several characters have stuck it out and made it to level 80, no regrets! However I cannot decide on which build to play. it’s between:
1) A Conditionmancer
2) A ‘Juggermancer’ build (Based on Sheobix’s)

I enjoy both playstyles after trying them out but I’m lazy and want to stick with one permeantly. PvE, WvWvW, dungeons etc etc… I’m looking for any pros/cons with these builds and ideally help deciding on not necessarily the best one for damage etc but the one that allows me to do all of the above to a good degree.
