Mine doesn’t even apply bleed :/
So I’ve gone through all of this game, and I finally got around to making my 5th character into a human. I was really shocked at the blandness of their story lines. My first character was a norn, it was a pretty shallow story intro but it made sense with that race, the human one is just predictable for the entirety of it. I don’t want to include any spoilers but I would like to ask what you think of the order of quality the races stories have.
So far I rate the personal stories in this order:
Norn
Charr
Sylvari
Asura
Human
What would you rate them as?
Question about Tegwen and the missions she is in... (possible spoilers)

Tegwen doesn’t die in any of the missions she appears in.
The majority of this quest is to navigate the underwater ruins. Order doesn’t matter anymore, your past the point of caring for that.
If you are getting stuck after the first encounter, you need to swim out and in the central ‘circle’ there will be a small ‘circular tunnel’ that you have to swim through to get the next part, explore the ruins a bit if you get lost. If you could be more specific about which part your getting stuck on I can try to provide more details.
I guess you didn’t hear the news, its all about Trahearne anyways.
I don’t run a SSD but I run a pretty nice gaming rig. Zoning at most would take 5-10 seconds, now it is taking longer also. spvp/tpvp is also having frozen loading screens, I wonder if these are connected?
It’s been happening a kitten-ton to me also. I experienced it once before this last patch, 250+ games without issue. Since last patch, every game I play now freezes on the loading screen Alt+F4 to close it. I only play gw2 for pvp at this point, so this is a game breaker for me. I’ll check back in a week or so I guess.
I don’t really care if people make a trendy class. The only time I ever run into a hard fight is a point defender Engineer, and thats always one hell of a fight. Every other class can be easily killed. I find it more annoying that people with the 100g commander marker running around in spvp with it turned on.
Wow. I play a charr and an asura character. The only time I ever played a midget to my advantage was in DAOC hiding in the grass sniping people. In this game all races have easy tells for their animations. Play an asura for a bit, learn the animations if this makes you so upset.
I remember everquest plane raids that took 6 days to complete. I’m quite fine with 1-2 hour dungeons.
I can see both sides of the arguments being valid here. I think what would tremendously help the people needing trinity to function would be better in game teaching mechanics. I have played just about every MMO including the first non-trinity launch Horizons (later changed to trinity). If people were taught from the beginning the importance of rotating your skills to the ones needed, given a bit more guidance for their class to see what can become of it without the mindless deaths in AC Story that people have. I myself like to learn the class but many people will not put that time into rotating their utility skills around to see the difference they can make in a dungeon run if they have to die 10+ times to learn from their mistakes.
I am sort of stuck at this part with both of my 80’s currently. I am not looking forward to it, and this method of completing the ‘my story’ feels just like a rehash of Lord of the Rings Online. If anyone has every played LOTRO they will understand that both GW2 and LOTRO have far to much in common to be coincidence.
You should see how hard it is as a hunter x.x
‘Hold The Line’ and Staff number 3 skill can also provide speed boost :P
I had to send in a ticket to attempt to get my Mistfire Wolf elite skill working, that was weeks ago, I’m guessing it will probably never work on that char. Since then I have made several new chars that can access the skill. I purchased my upgrade through the gem shop.
99.99% of the low fps issues are currently causes by ‘Reflections’ being turned on. Disable all Reflections and you should notice a 40+ FPS difference. Any NVIDIA card (with latest or older drivers even) ‘may’ have this issue, but the reflection disable seems to make the game 100% workable.
