She enjoys reading, exploring, jumping, jumping puzzles, SAB, carrots, sweets and spilling the blood of her enemies. ^3^
For Weakening Strikes maybe an added effect of cripple to keep enemies away or slow to give more time for evasion. Like a gut punch that leaves you winded.
Guild chat seems to fix itself when you set your status in the contacts panel[Y] to invisible, then to online. It needs to be reapplied on character change, but not on game restart.

Since we’re nearing the end of the first chapter of the Living Story, our guild wanted to brush up on last year’s events. So.
Starting today (Tuesday, 14th January) First Try Brigade[VGA] will be running Living Story Recap lore tours over on Ring of Fire (EU region).
Like the Halloween Tour we had a couple of months ago (videos:HQ, LQ - easier to read lines), they will be filled with silly and lazy “acting”, sprinkled with some events and champs. Overall a fun time remembering the old living story releases and maybe passing through some areas you’ve not visited in a while. C:
- Tuesday: Flame & Frost “reenactment”, including Dredge and Charr history tours.
- Wednesday: Southsun Cove Luxury Tour
- Thursday: Aetherblade Tour and Zephyrite Tales
- Saturday: Clockwork Tour, fighting off an invasion
- Monday: Toxic Tour
All tours should start at 19:00 GMT / 20:00 CET / 21:00 EET, but keep an eye on this post – I’ll update it with the gathering point and starting time on the day of each tour. If you’re late or lose us along the way feel free to whisper me (Rezzah) or check our current location on the twitch stream.

We’re going to run a Sugar Rush tour for the duration of Dragon Bash. Every evening we’re going to assault an area featuring a champion for the daily bonus chest, bashing holograms and doing events. Along the way we’ll provide bits of world lore for the areas we visit.
The first tour (Wednesday, June 12th) will focus on the centaur chieftain in Harathi Hinterlands. Other tours will target the dredge commissar in Dredgehaunt Cliffs, the fire shaman in Iron Marches, Admiral Taidha Covington in Bloodtide Coast, among others.
After the end of Dragon Bash we’ll continue with the tours. It’s quite possible we’ll run Orr tours as well. Clearing zones and liberating temples.

Each month we’ll be running tours focusing on a few areas of the world. Every evening we’re going to pass or map out an area, most likely featuring a champion with a daily bonus chest. Along the way we’ll provide bits of world lore for the regions we visit.
For the duration of Dragon Bash we’ll be running the Sugar Rush Tour.

Greetings and salutations, hero.
Academy of Adventure is a new guild focused on helping both new and veteran players in any aspect of the game. We’re based in the European server Ring of Fire but everyone is welcome, thanks to guesting. There are no requirements for joining and no need to represent. The purpose of the guild is to offer help in the following areas:
PvE
- Fresh Meat (Plant) – Just starting out? One (or more) of our professors will provide tips and answer any question you have.
- Buddy Leveling – Everything is better with a buddy.
- World Completion – Can’t find that last Point of Interest? Those smelly risen in Orr giving you trouble? Don’t worry, we’ve got your back!
- Dailies and Monthlies – Got only an hour to play? Sure, we’ll help you finish up the daily! Gotta get those laurels for Chauncey von Snuffles III!
- Dungeoneering – Dungeons can seem a bit daunting at first. We can guide you through them explaining the mechanics along the way. We also provide consumables for each run.
- Jumping Puzzles – We like ’em. Will jump if asked.
- Holiday and Living Story Events – Playing through them and ending with a party. As it should be.
PvP
- Random Arenas – Doing practice runs and just fooling around.
- Those scary Tournaments – Ask around. At least a couple of people will be willing to group up.
WvW (currently Ring of Fire only)
The plan is to have practice sessions and eventually more organized runs. But the priority stays in guiding people and improving skills.
- Teaching the Basics – Explaining what’s where, who’s who and what to do.
- Camp Runs – Every once in a while we may group up and start capturing camps avoiding big battles.
The guild is open to everyone. Send a whisper or in-game mail to Rezzah or Hawt Ironside for an invite. Or, alternatively, you can send me a PM on the forum. If you’re a veteran player and would like to volunteer as a professor guiding newer players please specify in the message.
