I agree; it’s a discussion I’ve had with quite a few people before (and I’m sure quite a lot of not-only-PvP-players will be upset about that), but ascended in PvP serves no purpose; sure, it’s a new skin and an extra reward, but PvP doesn’t use armor stats.
PvE does, and you have a lot of way to get it there.
WvW does, but you don’t have any way to get it there; so why wouldn’t they add a way to get ascended in WvW instead (where it would be useful) instead of PvP (where it doesn’t have any purpose).

I agree; with limitations. This change has made PvP for me utterly boring. Why? I want to play it with my friends and/or guilds-mates. I don’t care about the MMR rating, or the little icon that would be displayed next to my name – don’t really like how they look anyway (sorry Arena net) and I don’t think I’m alone here.

However it’s still ranked, so instead of having it only solo queue, or getting a mix of all kinds of parties in it; make it balanced.

If one team is made out of a 2+3 group, make the other team made out of the same, or at least as closely similar as possible. Having a pre-made 5 vs solo queuers would be unfair, having it I.E. 5 vs 3+2 would be a lot better. But do not limit who you can play with… it sucks all the fun out of it…

If someone out there thinks that would be unfair for the top whatever people… fine; legendary division can be solo queue only, but for the people who play this game just as that: a game let them team up with friends… isn’t that kinda the whole point of MMOs?

I agree; considering how much resources Arena net puts into PvP (the simplest of the game types in my opinion); I do not believe saying “ANet hates PvPers” over a simple match-making problem is justified.

The very same thing happened to me… Wanted to buy 3 stacks of it (since it says it stacked up to 3 times), instead I got 1 stack and lost the Unbound magic and gold worth for 3…

I did post an ingame bug report right after it happened, but I wanted to post one on the forum as well. Since there are a lot of items where it says you can only buy it one by one it needs to be disabled like for those items, or allow players to buy more then one item at once.

I just woke up, patched and when I log in, I choose character, I am stuck on the loading screen for about a minute then I get this message (pic below), I play on EU server. My internet speed is normal, every website and my other MMO loads just fine… Anyone else or just me? What should I do?

I just had the same problem, running the game with administrator privileges solved it for me.
