No idea if this makes any difference, but make sure your computer allows access to the Coherent program. No firewall, malware scan, virus scan blocking it.

Hi as title states I have recently installed guild wars 2 on a clean version of win8.
Everything has downloaded correctly and I can log in however when I press play it launches to a blank screen then crashes straight away without music starting or anything.
First time it runs win8 says it has an incompatability error and tries to run it under compatability mode.

I have uploaded the crash details file from the popup box after crash.

Hey, I’ve been trying to get -email and -command line to work but so far reached no success.

You supposedly put the parameters after the target launch area eg.

“D:\Games\Online\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -email

on the wiki it says “D:\Games\Online\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -email <string> as an example.. can someone clarify exactly what this means?

I have tried:

“D:\Games\Online\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -email example@gmail.com
“D:\Games\Online\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -email <example@gmail.com>
“D:\Games\Online\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -email <string>example@gmail.com</string>

none have worked; same with -password

So how do I get it to work?

Can sell stuff on trading post. Buy things on main page, but cannot search anything at all.
